now unless that turbo/s go in the front of the engine guess where they will end up...right on the sides. see how much space is in there? not much...damn near too little. so again...the clearance for TWO turbos is very very tight.

and whoever said anything about tt v6?
 
well when then mentioned the the vg30dett that's when they said something about a tt v6.

Also whatever happened to that guy who was suppose to show me proof of a GN V6 pushing 1000+hp?

Is the 300zx nose that much bigger? At one time Nissan must have toyed with the idea of an option. They would have engineered with this in mind.
 
lol well I know how to search, besides on that site it doesn't say if the GN is still powered by its original Turbo V6, so I can't be sure that it counts. Still, like I said before, I don't doubt that the V6 can make these types of numbers since the main factor in it all is money.

Also, don't try to make me look as if I'm another typical newb who never searches. Only reason I didn't was because I had no need to, it wasn't a question at all, I just had never seen a GN V6 surpass the 1000rwhp mark.

But as always, I rather keep it in the Nissan family, and what better way then to go for an RB26DETT? Also, I am a bit bias on this since I'm big on I6s.
 
well idk if u have read the thread concerning the infinti(sp?) M30. which basically looks like a 240 coupe.

but those of u who kno wut im talkin bout kno that the M30 comes with the VG30E or z31/2nd gen maxima engine which puts out bout 160hp
i kno i had 2 maximas. those engines are damn strong. and u could probly work out a way to swap the turbo from a z31. turbo VG30E Maxima

now i doubt anyone knos bout this but there is a guy who custom turboed a 2nd gen max and is plannin to TT it (sequential style)
givin all the room and the VG30E block u could probly put some nice power down. tho i remember reading a post by a machinist that the stock intake manifold can only support 250hp.(Engloid = on maxima.org)
tho he has a way to compensate for that by modifyin the manifold.

also last resort. also most expensive there is a company that makes built VG30E engines that put out approx 300hp all motor

Your right thats expensive. If it takes that much money to push a vg30e and only get 300hp then it's really not worth working on that motor to me especially considering that nowadays having n/a 300hp I4's is common. I would rather go turbo and choose an I6 motor like a 2jz or rb series and push twice the hp and tq and have it fully swaped and ready for turn-key operation then to ever spend close to 9k on a v6 that puts out a measly 300hp. Well thats just my opinion.
