What is this hose??

Hi!
I'm wondering where does this hose hook up to? I capped mines off but, i would like to know where does this hose go, and what's it purpose in life. Thanks! please look at the pix its the circled hose.

I capped mine off too. I think it used to go to the mess of vaccumm line and solenoids on the clip. Car runs fine so its not really needed.

I've only seen a couple 240SX engines, but that looks like it's either an EGR hose or a crankcase breather hose.

naw the crankcase breather hose is 3 times that size...maybe its a computer vaacum hose for the computer to read so it can adjust fuel?? maybe maybe not..... :12dunno

I really think it goes to the stock boost solenoid. I didnt purchase a clip so never got what ever it goes to. Its not needed so just plug the hole shut and forget about it

i think that a little air hose that goes to the cat so it can burn the excess fuel more effiently, i could be wrong, play it safe by a little breather

Do not put a breather on that hole. The MAF is there to calculate all air that the turbo sucks in and that hole is after the maf which would add to a mis caluclation (a small one) of your AF mixture.

The SR has a metal tube that connects to the O2 housing but thats it. No hose to the cat. And you DONT want to put a breather on that little hose

The hose goes to the stock wastegate solenoid.

Stock wastegate solenoid. I'll take that as my final answer and leave that thing capped. I thought it was a power steerinig warm up vaccuum line. THanks for all the informatioN!!
