OK i know everyone here loves 240s i love them 2. BUT the only run like 16s stock i mean...that isnt fast at all. With out putting a turbo in your engine can you make these things fast?
Of course you can. You can make any car "fast" without adding forced induction to it...Unless you mean mildly modified. I've seen a few hit 15's on this board with few mods.madmortar said:OK i know everyone here loves 240s i love them 2. BUT the only run like 16s stock i mean...that isnt fast at all. I know of quite a few NA 240sx running 14.5-15.1 with all the bolt ons (Full exhaust, Intake, Pulleys, 91 cams, Ignition, ecu).racerx said:With the 240s it's all about the potential of the car. Rear wheel drive, very neutral balance, nice styling. You couldn't ask for a better platform to build upon. Especially when you consider all of the engine swaps available. Don't count out the KA24de, however it is really overengineered when you consider the output. Forced induction isn't that expensive if you can build the plumbing yourself. Definitely the best import available for the price IMO.
what are 91 cams? Are they just '91 240sx cams?abailey269 said:I know of quite a few NA 240sx running 14.5-15.1 with all the bolt ons (Full exhaust, Intake, Pulleys, 91 cams, Ignition, ecu).
