Mexico cast KA24 blocks are heavier built, mainly in the cylinder walls. They also retain more dimensions carried over from the earlier Z series, crankshaft length, starter configuration, and main bearing arrangement. Available for these mexico blocks is a variety of high quality racing components, including (but not limited to) dry sump oil pans, high torque lightweight starters, and billet steel flywheels. 95% of ka24 used in actual sanctioned race use are mexicos.
