Hey guys, I have roamed these forums for a while with not much participation, although I like to keep tabs on this thread as I have done the R32 conversion. In fact, the car in Raceon's post is my car.

As for what is needed to get everything to fit, the main thing I was lucky enough to get my hands on that helped EXPONENTIALLY was an R32 core and bumper support, as well as hood latch. With out the core support, you will need to fab some pretty hefty brackets, as the fenders are longer by 2 or 3 inches to accomodate the added length of the R32 bumper. Bumper support is not necessary in any way, shape, or form, I just enjoy having OEM strength up front. The hood latch will need to be modified due to the same length reason that you have to build brackets for, or you can just run hood pins. Other than those issues it was fairly bolt on. As with most FRP pieces, nothing is perfect fitment and that is why professional installation is always recommended.

If you were to go the route of buying an OEM skyline front, you would need to graft the 240sx and the R32 fenders together, as the R32 fenders do not conform to the S13 frame rails at all. You will still need to fab up some brackets to get the head lights and corners to sit in there. One other issue that will come up due to the fender grafting procedure is the front bumper will not match up on the sides, the R32 one will be too long, so you will need to modify that.

Everything in the second part of that is assumptions based upon my findings when I first went at the conversion using OEM pieces (originaly bought all oem pieces, thats how I was luck enough to get all the major supports) so please take it with a grain of salt. Also, if anyone who has used OEM skyline panels successfully would like to chime in, im sure there are atleast a few people interested.

As for my car, I still have lots of plans for it. It has been sitting in the state that you see on Raceon's site for over a year, but big changes are coming soon.

You still on the board ? I just got a nismo gtr bumper from rocket and the fenders from vsaero. I'm guessing these are the same fenders just rebranded since raceon is no longer around.

I have the fenders mounted up to the bumper and the gtr hood on the car but I'm having some issues with the upper area on the fenders near the door. Anyway you have Facebook or a YouTube account where you could get in and get some good shots for me ?
Trying to turn this $100 clean title 240 into something budget friendly I enjoy. I can't afford a gtr so a sub $3,000 build works for me while I build my Rx7 Fd3s more.
