Hey did you cut the tubes out that went to the front shock towers? I don't see them later in the engine shots. What was your decision on that? Also, You have a ridiculous number of cross braces on your cage, looks cool though. Safety first! Great looking car, I'd like to have that guy weld a cage for me in about a year. I love how close he gets the main hoop to the body of the car. You say $1500 for a cage like that or your buddies? Thats a great deal, I might even drive mine up there if he'll do that kind of work.

yeh we cut the tubes and made extended ones so i wont rub on my tires when im at full lock.

which cage are u talkin about? one like mine or my buddies?

mine would prbly be more expensive cause his welds are crazy and he only takes in exotic cars. but he could get it done quick.

my buddies cage you would have to show them wat u want and you could negotiate with them.

I want something inbetween what you and your buddy have. I like the way he mounted your seat but I'd probably leave out a couple of the cross bars from the hatch section. I'd like to go through the firewall to the strut mounts and then have him seal it up. My main concern is having someone do a cage for me and me not being happy with it. I'm a pretty tall guy at 6'5" and I'm going to need my seat low and the main nearly touching the roof. I'd rather pay for quality than get a cage that I'm not happy with. You welder looks like he's the kind of guy I'd like to have work on my car. I'm not quite financially ready for a cage yet but it's definately going to happen.

yeh thats pretty much on the point to where my guy is reasonable with. he built my cage specifically to my height and to how low i wanted it. i had an autopower cage in my first drift car and my head would rest on my cage and i hated it haha. he could easily do a cage and do whatever you would like done to it. i did have mine thro the firewall but took it out due to rules. im pretty happy with the results of it cause he does it quick and correctly. he tigged my whole cage which some places just mig or whatnot. everything he does it always top notch cause he works on skylines, porches, and ferraris on the regular. ironically i was his first 240 build. i can ask him a price on a cage and what not just let me know. he would most likely need u there so he can position the seat rails to where u like it.

you got any more pics .. i want to recrait this car in forza2 ... i have started with the pics you have on page 2 .. but can you post more pics of the hood/left/rite/rear of the car please

yea im for real..... i dont have a 240 anymore so now i half to play forza to get my drift fix...

if you post pics i will deff gift you the car.. and add you to my xbox live ... my GT = ID s13phocker
