Yo what up... i am new to the nissan game and i need to know something i goin to buy and auto 90" s13 its a good deal on the car its just that its auto. what i need to know is it worth it to buy it and convert or is better to just buy it stick. i need some help its a stock kA24 i believe dual....plz help me out..post of sites and cost of parts would help alot. thanks alot..ig to till friday to to tell the guy whats my offer

Honestly, it seems like you don't know TOO much about cars and working on them, so i'd wait and get a stick if thats what you want. If you can deal with the auto then that's fine. The swap isn't that hard, search the forums I know there is a site/link somewhere on here.

And it's KA, not K, just letting you know.

thanks and i know my things about cars i a honda guy or use to be they get stolen to easily in the bx and my boy and me want some thing different. i was ranning single turbo ek dx honda civic

You know just because i feel bad for you ill just make your life easier.

Its an extremely easy swap any person who can follow simple directions and has the tools can get it done with no problems. Just a suggestion though when doing the swap( if you do it ) just replace some lower engine seals and gaskets its easier now then later.

First off, its a dual cam (DOHC) KA. There's plenty of links to sites on here, and dozens of other threads exactly like yours. My suggestion would be to get an auto if its cheap, and you are for sure going to swap it- but from the sounds of it, you probably aren't going to swap your 240 any time soon. You're probably better off buying a manual 240sx, DOHC or SOHC it doesn't matter.

If you're new to the Nissan 'game' and working on cars in general, I'd suggest you work on your game a bit more before you either buy one of these cars, or plan to transmission swap it before you even have the car.. Don't rush it.

Good things come for people who wait. Search, and educate yourself.

What do you want to use the car for? Daily driver, racing? If you don't mind auto, get it, but stick is more fun and more possibilities if you want to race it or something down the road. Be sure to look for rust on the front strut tower, frame rail and hatch. Try not to get the ones with the spoiler because if it isn't rusty already, it will be later(the spoiler is foam). Post pics of the one you want to get.
