Well i've been looking to get another little project car, and i've always had cars that are wrong wheel drive, so i wanted a change. Alternatively i wanted a change with something that could get some good gas mileage, as well as a lot of aftermarket and fairly easy to work on.

So i came to the 240. I'll be picking up my 89 red Hatch on wednesday :dancingna

I've been into Pontiac Grand Prix's for the past few years, and that's just what i've always done. I've owned many, and now i own a McLaren Turbo GP which is my daily driver. I just moved from houston, TX to Austin, TX and loving it!

I don't know much about the 240's, and i'm dying to learn. I have learned some of the S13/S14 differences, KA24E/KA24DE/SR20 etc etc etc, but still wanting to learn a lot more, as i pretty much know EVERYTHING there is to know about the 1st generation W-body GP.

ANyway, here's the 150,000 mile S13 i'll be getting

5speed GP's are VERY rare to find, i've only seen and owned one in my life, so this of course is a requirement :thumbsup

Outside is in pretty decent shape....

wah waah wwwaaaaahhhh......

I know a guy that pulls frames here in town though, so that will get fixed fairly quick.

Not bad for a $400 purchase.

Nice grab (if you have a friend that pulls frames). Maybe you could look into a JDM silvia conversion because the front end is already messed up and fenders will have to be replaced anyway....?

Ya, there's nothing wrong with the single cam KA. They're built rather sturdy and only have barely less power than the Dual cam. Nice find, and when you get that pulled out, stick with the pignose :D

Everyone beat me to it. The SOHC KA is ready for maximum flowing capabilities. I hope you stick with it.:thumbsup

After I wrecked my hatchback I had a friend expand/straighten my frame out too. I'm waiting on a new headlight baffle so I can fit fenders perfectly again.

Edit: ^^ don't be porker like everyone and their mother :happyfing

ya sorry guys...gotta go at least kouki. And a buddy at work showed me a 180 J-spec front end i think? I really liked that.

The frame is pretty goofed. Pointing off to one direction by a couple degrees, so i'm waiting to get a number back from a buddy on a good shop that won't be too pricey.

Here's how it sits right now

lol, i guess you could call it that. the aero 180sx type x front bumper? with 3 wide holes in the bumper.. yeah its sick. but your a bitch if you get rid of that single cam.
