Okay so I've been trying to figure this boost controller out and understand why it's not responding according to my settings. If I turn the boost controller off (or even not hooked up) the car boosts anywhere from 13.8-14.3 psi. So I'm figuring my WG is dailed at 14psi. As far as my Boost Controller goes I have the Blitz SBC i-D with dual soleniods so I know it can controll high boost.

So my first assumption was the BC wasn't installed correctly and I may have found the problem. Blitz tech support says the "Line In" taps into vacum BEFORE the Throttle Body and the "Line Out" goes to the top of the WG, and the port in the Middle of the wastgate taps into the Turbo compressor housing itself.

Here is how my system is set-up. The line In that is supposed to read off of pressure BEFORE the Throttle Body is actualy hooked up to a vacum port ON the Throttle body. Is that okay?

The line hooked up to the middle of the wastgate that is supposed to be taped into the Turbo is hooked up on a port on the TB as well.

The Out is hooked up to the top of the WG accordingly (but about 3 and half feet away)

Now I dont have a Vac line before the throttle body UNLESS I weld a port on the Intercooler piping itself. Should I see the same results with the lines hooked up where they are??

Today I set the unit to Auto mode at 18psi with a 60 gain (blitz told me to NOT use the manual mode because MOST people dont understand it) and the car hit 17.2 psi at 7200RPMs. NO MATTER WHAT the car doesnt spool until 3400RPMs and hits full boost at 7000-7500RPMs using a T67-25 Garrett....

The SBC i-D has two distinct modes of boost control. The Auto mode allows you to simply dial in a boost level and be on your merry way. The control unit watches the boost and carefully raises it to the target pressure. Your first time out, the turbo is going to be laggy, but with each subsequent run the boost will build faster. In our testing, the unit learned quickly and dramatically.

I've read almost all lit. on the system. I even down loaded the PDF from Blitz. My question is more specific on determining if my soleniods vac lines HAVE to be tapped BEFORE the throttle body, or if it's okay to use the vac lines ON the throttle body.... thats the only issue I see with my unit

I run an SBC. you need to know what setting you are trying to dial in. The SBC can only go as low as your waste gate setting. If you are trying to boost higher simply run it at 80 and see if you make 15 or s16 pounds. You definitely cannot make less than what your waste gate is set at. So if your wastegate is 14psi then that is your lowest.

the setup,

the 'in' side needs to be the actual pressure from the turbo system. Whatever source you used to plug to the wastegate before the SBC

the 'out' goes to the WG. Keep in mind that there are two setting for an external wastegate and and internal gate. That should be set on your controller and not the boost actuator unit.

yes sir I've read that, the unit is at times boosting more than 14psi. The other day I was playing with the unit, set it at 18psi with an 80 gain. I hit 17psi at 7500 but didnt see peak boost until late in the rpm range.

I have all the lines hooked up right according to Blitz, BUT I dont think they are hooked up to the correct vacum source, for example, I have the WG hooked up to the nipple on the throttle body (so is this a good enough vac source?)

As I stated in my first post, my lines are correct, but their vac sources may not be correct and thats what I'm trying to figure out...

from the SBC, splicing the BOV line which runs into my intake. I'm going to tap into the hotpipe for the WG line.

I called Blitz and the tech there told me the "in" that is a vac line can be T to the FPR so I just pluged it into another line in the intake manifold.
