So i got an idea to start a thread showing/telling what you did to your 240sx..
Well i try to keep this thread updated everytime i do an upgrade but with so much work doing this and that, upgrading this and that, fixing this and that..... times go by quick so now im off today and ill post what i did within the last 3 months...
So, i had an old T3/T04B H3 turbo with small fmi (31x3x6) and small IC piping (2" hot and 2.5" cold) and it did 300 whp at 20 psi... turbo was already maxed out. I also had an old IAP manifold that kept cracking when i reached 20 psi... It was over 3 yrs old and it had cracked on me like 4 times and the 5th time it was a wake up call.... so it was time for an upgrade. So i went to Gato performance here locally and had him duplicate this IAP manifold with fatter runners and thicker flanges.
Put on a small frame T3/60-1 with a large fmi 931x12x3.5) and larger IC pping (2.5" hot and 3" cold) And dyno'd 410whp and 390 wtq at 20 psi...
After that i spray'd my IC piping with cheap chrome spray paint from discount auto.... it came out pretty dang nice cause i get LOTS of compliments. Not bad for a $5 can of chrome spray paint. And of course me for doing it the right way and not like others that think they know how to spray paint... hehe, and u wonder why theirs comes out like crap.. and they blame it on the cheap brand spray paint...
And i sprayed "ka-t" on my fmi so these idiots will stop asking me if i have an sr20, even tho i have the ka-t.org logo STAMPED on both my side windows and my liscence TAG, they still ASK... How much of an idiot are u to ask if i have an sr20 when it was labled in 3 different places and now its in 4 places.... Oh well, im gonna stop ******** and get on with it...
