My 2.4L KA24DE ended up having the cylinders warped, so im getting the cylinders bored out .020" ( twenty thousandths) any one have an idea what the new displacement will be? Im guessing 2.5/2.6 at the very most? (wishful thinking lol) thanks

I was guessing around 2425cc but wasn't sure, thanks *ka24e*

Ok, now I feel like a boob, I had a old fart moment and forgot the bore and stroke of the KA. For some reason 89 pops into my head for the bore. :12dunno

I feel like a tart now, I knew the 2389, and I was right about the 89 being the bore, just could not think if the stroke to save my ass.

Thanks scoot. :thumbsup

2389 is the stock displacement, but he wanted to know what a .020 over bore (3.503 to 3.523) would gain as far as displacement. And there is a KA that has an 86 bore and stroke. It's 2.0L but was never used in the US. And it only had 3 valves per cylinder, yet was a DOHC.
