I was driving last night on my way home all my light went crazy and my antilock brake light came on and the brake light also my battery light came on I am thinkin it the altanator but dont know any thoughts would help

1. Take off alternator.
2. Take it to local auto parts store to be checked.
3. Let us know when you have done this what they said.

Screw taking it off to check it.
Sit in the car and turn the ignition on.
Now turn the ignition off an take the key out.
If your lights (oil, batt ect) are still on your alternator is bad.
If they do not stay on your alt is good.
I would have to say your alternator is defiantly bad tho.

hmmmm why would an alternator cause this problem?
