Well I noticed when I did my swap that there are little problems along the way. Everybody's swap is different and so there are different problems. So lets post about them and help each other out !!!!!


I'll start first:



Q: There is a little noise coming from under the hood close to the drivers side where the down pipe is. I have an after market down pipe and when I installed it noticed that two of the nuts no loner fit. I decided to leave them off thinking it wouldnt be a problem. Now the Noise....... Do you guys think it could be air ????? The turbo seems to be in good shape:) holding stock boost pretty well....

No not really. Its sounds like a fluttering noise almost. I have an aftermarket down pipe that has a thick base. So two of the bolts barely come out of the other side. Will that air coming out of the down pipe restrict power? ???

well idk if im thread jacking but i found a slight prob with my car YESTERDAY the nice puddle under my car 1/2 hr after doing a rad flush turned out to be my wattahhhh pump PDM RACING HOOKED ME UP

Potentially yes. You may not notice but it can get worse with time. Maybe take the pipe off and machine down the flange a bit so you get more threads on the bolt

well the main reason i bumped it if for others that need help. I know there are alot of people that need help but are afraid to post because they dont want to get flamed. lol chilllllllllllllllllllllllll
 
so i checked my oil this morning and guess what... not good it was like a yellow/brown color and smelled like str8 fuel what do u think this might be? im running 255lph pump stock lines, rail and injectors u think its just rich as heck? or something worse?
 
so you made a thread where people ask questions about the fucked up things on there car. oh wait isnt that called a forum
and arent we in a forum.

if people are scared to get flamed its because they know there questions are stupid as fuck.

I agree some of the question are really out there and are an easy fix. You wouldnt believe the frustration with some of these people that spend alot of money on the car and cant figure out whats wrong, even if its really stupid. lol . I made this thread to help people out. If you dont want to help then don't i dont blame you. but this thread is to help eachother out and so is this forum. thanks for bumping it though!!!!

Well do you have a air fuel controller? If so what does it read??? The yellowish color is the same as mine I'm running full synthetic. In my car for some reason there is a slight smell of fuel and I assume that it is because I am running rich because i'm not tuned. Get an afc which what im waiting for and you will be able tell alot about the way your car is running. :)
 
thats the problem it aint running, so im gonna change all my fluids and see if that will help, problem is i used water for coolant just for now to save money, its not im driving it like that but maybe my coolant is mixing with my oil? thats not good if thats the case
 
my idle is sketchy as hell. it surges like itll be at 1.2k then rev up to 2k by itself then drop back down and go back up constintly untill i drive. and my radiator exploded today
