What exactly are you talking about when you say, "LS1 rear end"? Is your Chevy 350 a Gen I, Gen II or a Gen III/IV? The Turbo 350 Transmission only came behind the Gen I. The Gen II and Gen III/IV had a 4L60(E).

you said ka18 again fuck your life you fail hard and i cant belive you asked that stupid fucking question in my thread.

but dont worrie ill save you

gen 1 on motor and i put a corvette rear end on my 240 already
Ok, here's the deal. The LSX Corvettes came with transaxles. Corvettes from 1953 to 1962 came with live axles and from 1963 to 1996 came with IRS without a transaxle. If you are wanting to make your Turbo 350 into a transaxle just stop right now and don't waste your time. If you have the differential out of a 1963-1996 Corvette I wouldn't bother putting it in. Honestly I've seen some V-8 and I-6 powered 240s put down some nice times/numbers with a nissan IRS rear end. If I was you, I'd just run the stock 240 differential.

ok i still have the stock rear end thats in my workshop right now

so basically just re install the stock rear end but then the question remain how much work is it to convert it over

i know i have to get new motor mounts and trans mount but the relocation of them is the thing that worries me

the motor on the 240 has over 250k miles so i figured it might be a lil cheaper to

I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just trying to find out what you have, what you have done and what you are trying to do.

Well, if you already have the Corvette rear differential installed in the car you might as well keep it there. Making engine/trans mounts aren't very hard, just put the engine and transmission into your 240 and see what needs to be done then do it. You'll obviously need a drive shaft. Is your Gen I fuel injected?

Why dont you do some dam research
and why the fuck do you want to do this anyways why dont you just buy a vet fuck
To each his own, I guess. My friend on this forum, DropTeam21, dropped a TON of money into his SOHC 240SX, but he has yet to get it street legal. IDK, maybe it's fun to build up a car that just sits in your driveway. I thought he should have at least went with a DOHC but he didn't, I also think it's fun to drive your car but I guess he doesn't.

look in order to do this build you are going to know how to fabricate a shit load,
people usually do this to 240z's because there is way more room, however what you can do is
buy a vet and your done
