okay so how exactly do i hook this up??? i feel like an idiot. do i hook the green wire up to the temp sensor? in the picture the red is hot\12v, black is ground, green is ??? and can you get a picture of the sensor from a little further away so i can see where its at cuz i looked on the bottom rad hose from the water pump but i didnt find any spot.

Find out what brand water temp you have and see what the color codes mean. Most likely it will be red - 12v, black - ground, and green - sensor.

Get one of these and just bolt it on the top.

This is on a KA24DE but you get the picture:

Looks like this guy put his on the top radiator hose.

okay i was figuring i would need to bolt it to the top with a connector for the wire but wasn't 100% sure.
does it matter if i run a aftermarket temp gauge and not remove the stock one?
I take it, it doesnt matter if the "adapter" put in the hose doesnt effect cooling or anything?

Okay sweet! now i just need to wait for my gauge pod to show up and that baby is going in. also another dumb question because in not sure on it. okay maybe 2 questions.

1) Where can i run the power/12v to so it comes on when the car does?
2) Do i need to buy a power block for all the gauges or can i tie them all in together?

i know i already melted it to lol its not bad just a little charing and a little melted away but you cant even tell unless you walk up to it and be like...o look he melted his bumper lol but yes progress FTW! o and if you didnt notice i also started to sand the car. well i just got to the trunk. i sanded it down and sprayed dark grey primer i need to get some body filler and fix the two dents in it but hopefully it stays nice out that way i can sand more and get it ready for paint woot!

And hopefully next friday i will be ordering my ISIS Single GT Exhaust for Enjukuracing whoa its gonna be nice.
