so im takin my RB to a shop to get the broken ehxuast manifold stud off and rethread one of the intake side.

anyways i was gona ask him if he can take the cams off and reset everything due to i accidentally turn one cam gear at a time wen i was taking them off. so i really dont wana spend money if i can do it myself.

can anyone please post a diagram of how to take the cams off and bolt torque's and bolt pattern of wish bolt to start losing etc...

i already tried the FSM but it wont open it

I don't see the need to take the cams off to reset them to TDC. Rotate the exhaust cam and just before TDC if the number 1 exhaust valves are closing then it was on it's exhaust stroke. If just after TDC the intake valve opens then it's on it's intake stroke now. You should be able to figure it out without taking the cams out.

this is what Coolwhip said

remove your cam shafts according to the FSM (factory service manual). You do this in the proper sequence of working your way from the outside in; in a counter clockwise fashion starting from the back. CAREFUL as they are pron to snap if done incorrectly. Once removed all your valve should be closed (in the up right position). Turn your crank shaft till it is on TDC. Then install camshafts in the reverse sequence as removing by working your way inside bolts to the outside bolts. Your camshafts should be installed at their TDC markings. Make sure everything is lined up. Install your timing belt as mentioned above, turn 2 rotations. Verify that everything is on timing. Just for peace of mind do a leak down test on each cylinder afterwords to make sure you don't have leaking valves due to some improper timing party play.

finally! i got it! YEEEEEE!

im changing the gaskets right now.
im tryin to change the front seal and oil pump gasket.(i might get new oil pump)
do i just pry out the crank timing pulley? how do i take it out? it doesnt say on the FSM.. yea i finally got it to open with adobe but too late i already got my timing, i kno right wth?

I've heard people having problems with that gear. Mine came off pretty easy, but some resort to cutting that one off and buying a new one. It should pry off. Some people try using a torch to heat the gear too, but yea it should just slide off the front.

Oh, nice. So did you get it out already? Mine came out pretty easy so I didn't search around much.
