Car idles fine but when i press the gas pedal bogs down. I have replace fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, tps (adjusted it), plugs, plug wires, rotor button, and both temp switches. Runs the same. I was told that it could be the knock sensor. IS THIS TRUE? I also read that you can see if a knock sensor is bad by tapping on it with a screwdriver??? Please help. If i don't get it running by tomorrow they're going to tow my car.(FUCKING VIRGINIA!!!) My first 240 and i haven't even got to drive it. Thanks guys

yeah, make sure the MAF is all the way plugged in, and there aren't any loose clamps or anything allowing a leak between the MAF and throttle body. also, check for any "hissing" sounds coming from the intake side of the engine.. if there happened to be a vacuum leak large enough to cause this kind of issue, you'd hear it..

if you did all that its deff the maff and yea pay 50 bucks and tow it somewhere else..

have no where to tow it. friends all live in apartments and storage units won't let me store them because it doesn't run. will a n62 work in the car? Ive checked for vacuum leaks and there isn't any

Take the snorkel off and check your airfilter? Sounds like it's just trying to breathe =\
