Car idles fine but when i press the gas pedal bogs down. I have replace fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, tps (adjusted it), plugs, plug wires, rotor button, and both temp switches. Runs the same. I was told that it could be the knock sensor. IS THIS TRUE? I also read that you can see if a knock sensor is bad by tapping on it with a screwdriver??? Please help. If i don't get it running by tomorrow they're going to tow my car.(FUCKING VIRGINIA!!!) My first 240 and i haven't even got to drive it. Thanks guys

why dont you tow it somewhere that it wont get towed.

also to me it sounds like a maf problem

btw f bombs in titles are no longer accepted thanks to

yeah, make sure the MAF is all the way plugged in, and there aren't any loose clamps or anything allowing a leak between the MAF and throttle body. also, check for any "hissing" sounds coming from the intake side of the engine.. if there happened to be a vacuum leak large enough to cause this kind of issue, you'd hear it..

To the OP, please keep the focus on the car in this thread. If you ask the same thing in more than one, all but one thread will be deleted.
