sup guys,
I bought a pivot adjustable headlight controller ya know for that "lazy eye effect" but the damn instructions came in japanese and unfortunately I can't read japanese. Does anyone out there know how to install them? Could someone provide me with instructions?

splice it in to the striped green wire.
this wire controls the down movement of the lights.
dont know if it needs a power source tho.
proly does,mebey it doesnt.
also for those who want lazyeyes but dont want to pay for the controler you can go down to radioshack and buy a momentary switch and wire it in (rather splice it in) to the green silver striped wire.
took me 20 min to install it.

how would the momentary switch work? im was interested in the lazy eye but didnt want to buy the controller. can you explain more on it.

2.50 at the local rat shack.
i think i might do a faq on it cuz it seems to be quite popular but no one really knows how to do it.
yeah monkey boy has the theroy right.
infinitely variable! ;)

hey guys, im new to these boards here, but i've been on AF and plenty of other boards for a while now.

i consider myself to be wise in the ways of nissan. especially for someone who doesnt even have their license, or a car.

anyways.. now that u guys bring up the Lazy Eye Control box, i was wondering how much they cost? because i was thinking of making a similar version for everyone once i get my 240sx.

i've heard they cost like 70 bux or something USD. i can probably offer them for around 30. all built by me and my dad, who has 32 years of experience as an electrical professor at George Brown College, and has about a trillion electical components and 2 thousand books on this shit downstairs. they will come in a little plastic black box with double sided tape/adhesive foam on the bottom side, and will sport a non-interior-clashing control knob. also, for those who wish to have the labels printed on the front of the control box, i could supply clear stickers with white print on them so u can mount them any way u want. :thumbsup

lemme know how many of u are interested and i will see if i can borrow a 240 to start workin on this job.

EDIT:

I have made nintendo64 controller adapters for the PC and such things like that many times, and all of them look like they were built with quality, and they were. i will go as far as insulating the inside of the box with non flamable insulation, so as to help the small electrical components work better in the cold, cause we all know what happened when nissan got that company to make their digital speedo's
(cheap components + cheap solder = bad connections)

this will all be backed by my 2 years of customer service experience aswell, so i assure u that i am not trying to rip anyone off. anything to help the scene is what i say :supercool

hrmm there was someone from NICO that made his own control board..but said he got rear ended and he ditched the project =[. I'm interested.. And besides, i'm sure there's a lot of ppl interested.. DIBS ON THE FIRST ONES hehe.

yeh $20 seems reasonable ;) . put me down for the second one. yeh and add al the insulation and stuff. welcome to the forum btw
thanx for the warm welcome.

umm, considering that u tap into one wire as shown in the diags posted by Joel 180, im assuming it cant be too advanced of an electronic device on the inside of the box.

and did i mention that my dad worked as a professor as head of the ELECTRICAL MOTORS department? so that should be the ticket to making this work, right there :rotflmao

im sure you and your pops will be able to get those boxes to work. it seems pretty simple. but i think it might be kinda expensive to ship them to the us from canada. keep us updated. im sure alot of ppl would buy them if it was cheap.
