What did you do to your car today?

If it is an S14, they will connect it to the OBD diagnostic machine. By the way, even if it is OBD-I, they still have the OBD diagnostic port and they will still connect to it. He is surely to fail if his car is an S14. Hell, he'll still fail visual without the CEL bulb.

Not in my ass backwards state sir! Here only '96 and newer model years get plug in tests, regardless of weather or not they are OBDII ready. And remember that some S14's were still OBDI from the factory. My production date is too late for that, but they do exist.

I passed this morning. :D

Guy never got in and restarted the car. He opened up my own lane at the state run inspection place, then closed it after I left, does a mirror inspection of the front of the car, probably saw the radiator and brake ducting and looked confused. I was expecting a treadmill test, but actually got an idle test where I held it at 4500 for about a minute. He asked me what I had done to it, and I just said that it had the exhaust and a cone filter the rest was suspension. Once I passed I opened up a bit more about having the head off like 3 times in the last year and all the other stuff. Turns out the guy was cool and has a turbo civic or something that he's trying to get tuned.

window switch replacement

um. today i just replaced the window switches on both sides. i was driving over railroad tracks and allof a sudden without touching my switch the window started going down. hahaha. i'm now looking for an oem S14 spoiler. the one that sits off the trunk just a little bit w/o the light.

I had a really bad exhaust leak so thought all i had to do was change the gasket. Turns out the dumb ass that had my car before didnt do anything right. He welded a stud to the head because he stripped it and didnt know what else to do.then took off the aiv unit and it is all clogged and burnt up. (plugged it) Also broke a stud off in the head cuz he used loctite.

Also did my shift boot, glove box and arm rest recently. Love my soft arm rest.

I know my dash looks like shit. Thanks Mr. Obvious. I spend enough money on keeping it running. Dew to the fact the guy that had it before me was a dumb bitch. I should have done a right up on it. I like it. I went to michaels and got this stuff called fun foam. Got two sheets. Went to Joannas fabrics and got the leather. Uber cheap. Shaved the foam to my needs and then wrapped it and came out perfect. Jealous much?

looks like your so called helper was drinking the whole time, stayin hella relaxed and saying, look at this guy. trying to make himself look like he's working. lol

btw, i drove my car to my friends house to sell my rx7.....

finally racked my car at my boys shop.. cleaned around the motor and replaced some belts.. held off on takin the timing chain guide off.. had no valve cover gasket so gotta wait til tmr

my car has zero rust.. also tested out my new brakes.. by standing on them.. while doin a burnout

3rd attempt at removing the mother f'ing alternator pulley. I've made two different tools to hold the pulley down but the damn shit still slips! Going to make another tool tomorrow, hopefully that bitch will come out.
