hey i've searched to see if there was a thread on this but couldnt really find anything so heres my question is there a good advantage to have them on your turbo inlet?? and if you do would you just relocate the maf in the turbo tubing??

They help with response and a little bit of power making due to creating a smooth inlet flow over it's shape. You can try a MAF Blow-Through set-up but mostly when you use those Turbo Velocity Stacks in on a set-up using a MAP.

yea but with a bigger MAF from a Z32 it shouldnt be a problem if its in the tubing.. and would that funnel also mean that i would be driving around with no filter?? im assuming yes lol

I know that that's why I said "Blow-through"
And it depends on the design. If it's just a regular 3" Velocity Stack w/ a 6" Mouth then there are 6" Filters. It all depends on the design. Whats your any anywho? 9/10 you wont need it.

my setup is your tipical setup
at 8psi
550 cc injectors
im pretty sure your right 240 kid i was just curious cause the stacks look really cool but if i wanted a blow through MAF which one would work in the 240??

Any MAF can be set-up as blow-through.

Apex'I does but the funnel isn't that big I don't think. I could be wrong. But that's what makes those so good. It filters better than a K&N and has an integrated Velocity Stack.
