No I got arrested... yeah its bullshit... but i got charged with... unauthorized repair on street (back of parking ticket 15.00) and disorderly conduct for telling the cop :" this is fuckiin bull shit"

now thats a down grade ftw.
Many may see that... its a matter of opinion...i like it thats all that matters... but it brings my factory weight down dramatically and it looks good...it for show and drift... its only being started with the stock turbo... its getting a lowmount gt35

when your going sideways less weight is almost always better.

heavy engines ftlis

Ive said it before, if I detoure from the s chassis for drifting it will be for a z33 with a sr
Are you approving of the swap? The swap was necessary it allowing me to make the car more predictable....

That's not always a good thing. Any idea what the F-R weight ratio is gonna be compared to stock?
I dont know what the weight ratio is...I know I am almost 4-500 lbs lighter than a stock 350z... I had to make the car lighter... getting the car sideways wasnt a problem with the vq, pulling it back aound without finding alot of body roll and slop was hard. YOu can get it sideways but get it straight again without spining out the oppisite way was hard... the car from factory has alot of body roll and spring rates that were to light for the 3400lb 350z.

Like I said before, not always. When you take a substantial amount of weight out of a car and it's right off the nose or the tail it throws the F-R ratio all out of whack.

Sounds to me like a suspension problem and not a weight problem, especially weight over the nose.

Although, swapping a SR20DET into this Z32 did work out well for these guys.

Nice.... Looks like custom fiberglass or rolled Sheet meteal... Clean ride bro... Im doing custom shit myself right now... Im in the middle of an Sr20det swap in my 06 350z Grand Touring...
BTW off topic... anyone have an exact measurement of the sr20 drive-shaft? Tranny shaft end to the 4 bolt to the diff...
Your on the money, fibreglass really to keep the weight down and wasn't to keen on a metal battery box
for safety reasons

^Is is me or is the front of the SR20 farther back, or in the same location, as the front of where the VQ35 would be? It looks a lot shorter (F-R) and wider than what I was originally thinking. Either way it looks like it's gonna be a clean swap.
