First off
I swapped to the sr20det last weekend has great compression been rebuild 30k ago and have paperwork to prove so when i bought the engine. all my grounds are good and tight, getting fuel, but no spark.

I have tried switching my ignator, coilpacks(and harness) and ecu to a friends car and it all worked fine on his car.. the wiring harness came with the motor when i bought it and i feel like its going to be a wiring issue seeing its a ka converted to a sr harness.

btw i was checking for spark by sticking a long screwdriver in the coilpacks well my buddy turned it over and grounded it to the strut bolts...

Pretty confused at this point, any advise?

oh right now i do not have my intercooler piping installed just pulled off all the vaccum on the TB just to get her to start up..also ive been trying with not having the sr maf installed either. for i dont have pigtails for it.. i do have a z32 maf and pigtails but i have to wait until i get my tune before i install it.

1 things i have yet to check is my timing.

Definitely sounds like wiring issue. Do you have a multi-meter? Need to find out if your coil(s) are getting power.

Yeah i have ba mutli meter haha.. Im just be honestly i suck horribly in the mutli meter department.. my buddy is going to come over today and help me get mine going cause his sr will be here in 2 weeks lol

I got real familiar again with mine, right after i got the 240. i had so many electrical issues when i first got my car running.

Let me know how it goes. Your in the area so it's not hard to sing out and take a look

True that... I will let you know if i need you to swing over or something.

Im going to put a stock Fpr back on it cause my isis one doesnt have a vaccum, and i have one so just swap them out charge my battery cause it dead, oh and get some gas lol its on E =)

Also i just checked for continuity for all the grounds and the only clear place i can get it to beep is the negative terminal, but if i use another car via jumper cables all my grounds will beep..

So today i got a fresh battery, and played with it alittle and have come to the conclusion that a few things were wrong and i just had to step back and be patient lol.. First off, I didnt have the Blue/Red striped wire on the Red/black for im use to just having to cut/extend. Anyways So hooked that up sprayed alittle gas in the TB and tried it and started up but quickly died.. Im using q45 370cc /min side injectors with a isis fpr adapter with no adjustible FPR for a vaccum source to it. Should it start crank with just the adapter? it seems like its not getting fuel.. i will check my plugs on my next day off, Any suggestions?

The ISIS fpr adapter is just an adapter and not a regulator. You need to get a regulator on there asap. If you are getting fuel at all this is def an issue. Are the fuel lines hooked up properly? Do you hear the fuel pump turn on?

Yeah, everything is good and connected right for its been check over and over and over,.. The problem is im getting fuel to the rail but not the injectors.. Thus when i spray gas in the intake manifold it will start. Im picking up a new rail injectors and oem fpr tommorrow putting that on and then try again..

Alright update time. Got everything squared away boosted 10psi on the stock t25 pulled smooth, idle was crazy for I have leaks after my maf, well after another pull, i noticed my bov was leaking at idle it i plugged it with my hand it idle down and be fine. in boost it fine smooth as can be then on deceleration it will backfire on me, which should be from running super rich?

Okay so today i removed all my spark plugs, and noticed the number 3 cylinder was still wet from gas, from the night before >.<..... so i bought new plugs tried starting it and it didnt sound right so i click my plugs again to see that the number 3 cylinder is now full of gas i could see it on top of the piston. cleared it out and started it back up and it runs and idles fine, but still sounds like its misfiring.... I have yet to try swapping coil packs yet
