Hey guys and gals, My name is Anthony. From Springfield/Dayton Ohio. I currently own a 1993 Nissan 240sx SE coupe. As of now, its stock, but I'm planning on changing that here soon. This is my 2nd 240sx, I was so happy with the first one, I had to get another! lol.

Just posting this up as an introduction. Hope to be here quite a bit, as I do have some research to do before I jump into heavy modifications. I'm a part of a few other forums directed towards 240s, the drift scene, and such; Ohiodrifting.com, Zilvia.net, and Ohiosx.com to name a few.

Well, Thanks for all the welcomes that I'm sure will come, and I hope to fit right in here.

Thanks again,
Anthony

since you are familiar with forums you should have posted this in the introduction thread which is a few stickies above.
I looked right past that.... my bad.

did u just sign up to those forums as well?

what happened to your old 240? did it expire?
Ive been on Ohio Drifting for about 6-7 months now. Zilvia and ohiosx were mainly just for parts and such. I haven't really posted too much in the forums.

The old 240, Well, I bought it with mods already done. I loved it, yes, but it turned into a money pit, mainly because I didn't know a whole lot about the car, and realized that It was done poorly, and not to my standards. I beat the holy hell out of it until i sold it. Now its a Track Beater! lol. This is the reason I waited and searched for a super clean STOCK coupe to start my own project on.

I believe the old coupe is still running on the KA that was in it...I haven't heard anything about it being blown, or catching a trip to the wall.

I do miss having coils, and a welded diff the have fun with. :/

Its good that you want to build your own car.
that alone gains my respect.
Well, I'll take that. lol.

I've learned to build my car, my way. I.e. why I bought stock, instead of poopy, half-assed, budget build to the max status.

Plus its nice to get compliments from people seeing a clean STOCK SE running around town instead of the typical ones with fart cans, classic-donk style 20s, and super-go-fast neons.:fonix:

hey hey hey now be carefull with what you say around here
Im sure that was directed towards my "budget build" comment....

Ill take that back, I was leaning towards more of a "thrown together". For example, Push button start, wired alllllll janky like. More zip ties than you can shake a finger at, and more time spent fixing dudes Fk ups, than spent driving.

Apparently the guy took the whole "zip ties, its a 240/drift thing" a little too seriously.

Zipties help a lot... especially when you cant tell your car is held together by them... if used correctly and not put out in the open zipties can help out a lot.

And please dont make fun of peoples cars like that... yes you may have done something differently to it. but the others built their car the way they wanted it. just because its not to your liking doesnt mean you can flame the hell out of them for it.

I cant explain the overuse of zipties on the old coupe...i really cant.

Ok I am gonna start here.... Zip ties are fucking awsome and I am and have used zip ties on my rear bumper for when i get it sidewayz if i hit a wall or something the zipties snap instead of my body kit crumbling! By the way get a build threaad going and get some pics up man im eager to see this! GOOD LUCK!

Ohh and btw my name is anthony too and im from ohio!
