I have owned a total of 2 different Nissan 240sx. Both of which have been 1989's. The first one was a great show car and looked decent. I will post pics of both of my Nissans later, the new and the old one. My first 240 I owned I bought with a couple aftermarket things done to it, including; suspension, brakes, rims/tires, air intake, and a body kit that was only a small lip on front and rear. I rebuilt the motor that was in it, KA24DE, and it had 376whp if I remember correctly. It was a very fun car that I miss a lot but had to sell it due to the fact that I needed money for school to become an automechanic. But early this spring/ late winter, I bought another finally. It was decent body condition and completely stock everywhere. I put it in primer due to the previous owner doing some body work on covering body lines that I did not agree with. But now it is not running correctly. I can only hit 2500 PRM if I snap the throttle, but if I slowing increase throttle, I can hit only 5500 RPM. When I first bought it, it ran great, but now I cannot even drive it due to the fast of how it runs. I replaced the MAF senor and noticed the the IAT sensor was missing, but i have no idea what is giving me this issue. Hope to talk to more people and learn more about these fun cars, I want to eventually turn the car into a Drift car, so if anyone knows any info or can help me out, I would really like that. I know I will return the favor one day in the future.
