How fast is your 240?

This ka-e will do 140 all day, its running an auto ECU. No speed limiter,fuel cut yes at 6400-6500 rpm. Now looking at the dash we were at 5300 rpm on i75 north from Toledo oh. to Monroe mi. There are small grades here and there but for the most part its flat and straight. Headlights down, windows up tires are 205 60 15. And it is for a fact faster than the two de 240s in town.. NA NA NA NA NA ,can't touch this!

Now I know your full of shit, lol.

Assuming your tach is correct, which I'm 99.99999% positive its not you'd be going 126 @ 5,300rpm. I know the fuel cut on the SOHC 5 speed is 6,250rpm. So assuming your fuel cut is 6,450 (Average between 6,400 and 6,500rpm) I would say your tach is off by 200rpm +/- 50rpm.

So with stock gearing, 205/60/15's and 5,100rpm (5,300 - 200rpm) you'd be traveling 121mph. Which is much more realistic for a SOHC w/ the mods you listed.

s13 HUD only reads 115/120 just like the needle since it goes off the needle itself and theres no way around it.

lol why doesn't soch 161mph guy just post a video or it didn't happen? u sure it wasn't KPH? cause 161 = 100mph which sounds right for your old sohc.

Yeah you are right but almost any car will be off by on 1 or 2 mph even the most expensive cars. My car is fast enough to hold off the top end charge of E90/92 M3 ... bluff or no bluff I am fully satisfied with having s14 turbo and stock motor that can do that. Imagine when I build the damn thing. If you live in the nyc area and you see me on the highyway you will see for yourself. Just look out for a SLOW240!!!
