ok, so here is whats going on. After installing my new ka24de with new pistons, rods and bearings and using royal purple assembly lube. I torqued everything down and everything spun fine. Well I let it sit for a few days and came back to spin it and it wouldn't spin so easily. I forced it to spin and everything was great again. So a couple more days went and i began putting everything together...heads, timing and stuff. Everything spun great and no issues. Couple more days went back to work on it and it wouldn't spin. After forcing it to unstick everything was fine again. Now i have it in the car, all hooked up and ready to go and....can't get the engine to "unstick". I know its nothing else because i've been over the car from bumper to bumper. Can anyone help me out to why its "sticking" and maybe something i can do to get it unstuck so i can drive my car?

ok, so after an hour of "he-maning" the crank with a cheater bar, breaker bar and socket we finally got the engine to start turning again. So fixed that problem, now i'm having a no start problem. Checked battery voltage (12.08v). Thinking maybe the starter cause can't hear it engage the flywheel. So we are going to take the battery (for a load test) and starter to autozone in the morning to have them checked. I would like to say that this is my first engine swap so i'm kinda new at this....

ok, so got back from autozone, battery was low and starter checked out fine. Got them both in the car and still no start. All i get is a relay switching and thats it. Anyone got a clue? Also i did a manual conversion and the only connecter thats plugged in is the big cylinder looking one on the tranny. Just want to make sure thats the only one that needs to be plugged in

I know its kinda late, but what did your main bearing clearances look like?
everything was in spec, i don't remember what the exact numbers were but it all looked good. Ok, so got the car cranking now (found out that i needed to bypass the neutral safety switch) so thats done. Now we are getting cranking but no start. We took another look at the timing and redid it to make sure. Checked ignition timing and still nothing. We have spark and fuel. Any help is appreciated

tdc @ #1? when you put everything together are you sure you had it timed right? if it was not you may have he-maned those valves into being bent. while apart was it exposed to weathering? if so then it probably surface rust holding it. possibly bad rings. possible bad injector/s. bad rotor cap? air in the fuel lines? bad ground somewhere?
