I got into my first Nissan in February of this year, 93 coupe with an SR, drove two days with an "exhaust leak." On the second night I suddenly realized I had zero steering, as in I could not move the steering wheel at all. I freaked out and slowed down, yanking on the steering wheel until it loosened up just a little. I get pulled into a gas station, pop the hood and the turbo is laying on the steering column, oil draining everywhere. After a few days of searching I found PDM Racing and gave them call. I ordered all the OEM gaskets, studs, washers, and nuts from the manifold to the dump pipe. Then I break a manifold stud, then I buy ARP studs, pair of rocker arm stops and an APEX head gasket. Send the head to the machine shop, only after buying a $75 set of MAC e-z outs and snapping one off in the stud. You guys already know where this story is going so I'll wrap it up. By the time I get everything ready for assembly I realize the turbo is complete junk, and I'm almost positive it was not a T25. The wastegate actuator was JB welded to the compressor housing... Well, it was attached at one time. I found an s14 T28 for a descent price and got back to putting the engine together. Everything goes pretty easy and I finally get it going. Four days, a deer, and two trees later...
