ISIS T25 Turbo

Hey have any of you tried the isis T25? I need an inexpensive snail for a budget KA-T. Im thinking it would be safer to go with a new ISIS then buying a used garrett not knowing if its blown or almost blown. I only plan on running 6psi. I cant seem to find any reviews on it... Any feedback would be great.

You can always buy a used turbo and re-build it.

Rebuild kits are inexpensive too. YouTube has plenty of videos you can use as a guide even if you have no knowledge of turbos.

:iagree: For what you would pay for a ISIS turbo, you can get someones "throw away" T25 from a SR swap and rebuild it for dirt cheap.

The problems the china turbos have is leaking seals and crappy bearings. Buying a blown garrett and rebuilding it with china seals and bearings makes it somewhat the same thing as a ebay turbo. I havnt heard of an ebay turbo throwing blades under "normal" use. I guess its better to have a garrett/china turbo then a full out china turbo though:lol:

just get a blown SR T25 and rebuild it with quality components and tada

I never said anything about buying a "china" re-build kit. Also, just because it comes out of China, it's not always shit, but either way, you can get "quality" re-build kits from "non-china" companies.

Thanks, i found a garrett T25 the other day for $150 with minimal shaft play
