Well fucking duh I knew it was on, but I guess you didn't understand. And thanks for concern and i am aware of the concept, but I've never had or knew anyone that had any issues from running a car low on gas.

And no I don't use the internet to socialize, and it wasn't just you in particular, I was just trying to help people in a similar situation and sick of retards being douchebags just because I like to separate my posts into separate lines for each point.

I've been on other sites for years and never had any issues with anyone but you pricks.

I personally dont mind you separating everything... I like it more than a wall of text. And who cares if box wont read your posts anymore... He's canadian.

This is a forum, forums are used to bring people together and discuss things... By discussing things with other human beings, you are being social. So you DO use the internet to socialize.

I do appreciate you posting vids... And people in the future that actually know how to use the search function will appreciate it too. (it would be super if you could edit your original post to include that the vids can be found on the second page so people dont see blank posts on the first page and assume the thread is useless)

and even though I cant prove it... I had a FP go out within 8months of installation in my ranger, and most of the time I had under 1/4 tank. Then I bought the same brand of FP and never let my gas below a 1/4 tank... It lasted 2yrs before the drunk driver smashed the truck. So after hearing that a lot and my personal experience, I assume that the low fuel was the cause of the early failure.

If you don't want to be here, just log out and dont log back in... Don't ask to be banned. Don't take stupid/troll/rude comments seriously... We are just bored and joking around. Whatever you do decide to do though, good luck with your car, its looking pretty good from what I could tell.

Yea I was just getting a bit sick if it.

I have heard not to run a car below 1/4 tank, but I got this car for $1000, its not a big deal.

Maybe if I have time tomorrow I'll edit my first post to include the videos again and more along with a link to the exhaust I bought.

And maybe a mod can delete all the other bullshit and lock it.

As a mechanic of over 10 years. It's speculation that the FP goes out with low fuel. Main reasons are you tend to pick up my dirt and shit. Another is your more likely to suck air from the pump not being submerged. The pump burns out when sucking air that's a fact. Take an electric water pump and just have it run without fluid going through it. It will just crap out on you. So yes it will but not fully tested and proved.
As for people being asses on the forum. I say more power to them. I'm a smartass and have no means of changing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if you can't handle things then move on. That goes for anyone. Hell I get ragged on for shit I do and say. It's whatever to me.

Yea I know, it just gets old quick. I can be a smartass too sometimes, I'm just not usually a prick about it.

And yea I'm not a professional mechanic but I have worked on Nissans and other imports QUITE a bit. I had a non turbo z32 300zx that I did almost everything you could do to it. Not modification wise but troubleshooting and repairing wise.

I replaced the cylinder heads WITHOUT pulling the engine, so timing belt, water pump, trans pulls, clutch, flywheel, driveshaft, exhaust pulls etc.

Also troubleshot just about everything to do with a distributor-less ignition system chasing my no spark issue, which turned out to be a bad ground frying my PTU.

Also made a few write ups showing step by step how to troubleshoot said ignition system, also how to do a power balance test and various ways to check for spark and check the injectors and a couple other things.

So yea I have heard just about all the do's and dont's and how to check for just about any engine related issue there is.

The CEL is for the det sensor which I just bypassed to get my timing and fuel maps back to normal, but there is another one for the 02 sensor.

And before people start PMS'ing about bypass th det sensor.... It's non-turbo'd... It will be alright.

Exhaust? I looked at OEM and it would have been over $200.

I quite happy with this one, looks really nice, probably gave it a little more zip, and is relatively quiet too. And only $140 shipped.

But yea, no matter what I do to this it will never be as fast as my Z so I'm not going to even bother making it faster, I only bought exhaust because the OEM exhaust fell off before I bought it, lol

Oh we were, but then the other two had to keep going with it.

And what I meant was that my Non-turbo S14 will never be as fast as my Twin turbo 300zx that is running 17 psi.

I mean it COULD but it would take serious money, So to me its relatively pointless to try. I'm just trying to make it decent for a DD. the only reason I went with the EBay cat back was because the OEM exhaust had snapped off after the resonator before I bought it.
