There's a lot to tell in this one!

We were still coming along with the build, engine in the car.
The red car had two electric fans on it but they were kinda mangled in the wreck. Lucky me, my dad had two electric fans he planned on using on his '69 mustang and he was nice enough to offer them to me, and then he modified the existing bracket from the car to fit them on the new radiator like so

I'd say that looks pretty good!

Speaking of my dad here he is helping me out

With the engine in, and everything hooked up this is the first time the car ever drove

First half

second

and the first drive around the block is uploading to youtube as i type.

So now that the car runs, its time to start getting the front clip back together

Right now were looking like this
Image

so get the hood on and aligned, and start messing with the headlights
Image

Image

turned out being much more of a pain than we expected because the top bumper mount was bent up, but we got it figured out and the other headlight made it in
Image

leaving us with this
Image

not too shabby for a couple amateurs

Okay so then it was like a lot of other kouki's out there, with the bottom of the front bumper kicked way out and looking goofy, like this
Image

So with a bit of steel, and drill and some vice grips i made one bracket to mount using the washer fluid container bolts on the passenger side, while my dad made one for the drivers (I can take pics if anyone is interested) So after that, we have this

So there will be some more pictures soon, but until the bearing and rear end swap this is a complete car.

Heres me and my dad with the red car in the back, white car behind us and my moms finger in the corner of the shot lol

then both of my cars

SHOUT OUT

to my dad on this project. It would have been completely impossible for me to do all on my own physically and financially. He was a HUGE help and he's a wonderful dad. I dont know of anyone elses dad that is into muscle cars and drag racing like him thats willing to help a kid build a nissan almost from the ground up lol. Love you dad! And thanks again!

Awesome buddy! My dad is into classics. He odesn know entirely everythign like some, but he was also a big help to my build. At the end of the day its not working on the car that is the best part of the day...its working on that car with your dad! Glad to see its running. Oh and BTW on your video of it driving...THERE IS A ROAD YOU KNOW. I think this is the first 240 of roading HA. Good Luck!

Long time, no post on this thread.. I've been working on my mustang and working on school a lot lately so I haven't had a chance to do much to this one.

However I got a grill and cheapo lip spoiler for the trunk and have put both of those on the car.

Here is the grill, I bought a Silvia sticker, found some thick plastic, painted it black and cut it to the right shape, then used some allen bolts n washers and mounted it up! Not too bad imo :)

I'll post up some pics of the lip spoiler soon, Oklahoma has been nice enough to give us a couple snow days recently here but when I get the chance Ill snap a few.
