Well I have been lurking around here for almost 3 years now and this past week I finally got my 240 on the road . This is my first Nissan but by far not the first thing I have ever built . Anyway , too much history for this build thread . We shall first start with when I brought my $800 find home .

Didn`t look that bad until I got the front end off the car but still it wasn`t that bad . I bought a new battery and did a full tune-up on it since I was told it ran by the previous owner but after a compression test I found that to be bullshit . so a blown head gasket and fried rings brought me to the point of deciding on an engine swap . After floundering back and forth between Ca`s , SR`s and RB`s I finally decided to just go through a KA since me and the law don`t seem to get along and the last thing I want to do is build a car I can`t drive . Well parts bought and the block sent to the machine shop , only to find there is almost a 2 month wait , I get sent out of town for work . So working out of town with unlimited overtime I decide to start buying . Full urethane bushings from front to rear , 5 lug swap , 5 speed swap parts , Z32 and R32 brake swap , JDM seatbelts and a bunch of other little things I can`t remember right now .

Anyhow , I got a lot of pieces setting around ready to find their way to their new home and finally got my block back from the machine shop so begins the engine ,

After the engine was all together it sat on the stand in my dads garage for about 6 months because of work again . Well here we are almost 3 years after I started this new project and learning curve I finally got around to pulling the engine and finishing the 5 speed swap and got all those brake and suspension parts on as well . Right now I only have a few pics of current progress but the weather is getting cold and all the bones I have broke over the years hates the cold , so pics will be limited for a bit but here are a few more over the past couple months .

I`ve bought some other bits I have not mentioned but I will need to sit down with all the receipts to make a part list . I might get a couple pics this weekend if it warms up a bit , nothing grand or shiney , just where it is right now . I`m currently putting together the money for body parts and such , so as soon as I have all said parts I will be working out the details for getting her painted . After paint and body I will turn my attention toward collecting the necessary bits for doing the KA-T but that will be later in the summer more than likely . Well this is just a rough start , I got more pics to upload . I know there is a lot I probably forgot about but there is more to come .
