And everything all back together

Also got a shot of the filter in it`s home and yes it fits fine . I changed the rear diff fluid as well and added a bottle of the ford friction modifier and does it ever make a difference in how smooth it works .

Ok , I`m looking to buy some wheels in the next month . I`m going to do a staggered set and I am unsure of my offsets so I need input from the wheel people . I already have 5 lug swap , not that that is going to matter . I`m going 18x8 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. I have 225/40/18 tires already which I will be using til they wear out . Now , question is in the front I have a choice of 30mm and 43mm offset and in the rear 15mm and 23mm . I`m not trying to go with overfenders or tuck the rims but I am not scared of rolling and pulling the fender lips .

Well I went to look at a new shell today and of course my luck the shop where the car was just closed before I got there . Going back monday after work , the car is a 90` hatch without sunroof but it has had the front end swapped to the 91` up chuki front end . Depending on the condition of the shell will determine what happens . Either way I will have some parts going up for sale if I do get it .

I think 18s look alright. That's what was on mine when I bought it. Although I don't like the rims, I think some different ones would look good.

Well the new shell is a go . Going to pick up one parts car to part out Saturday morning , got people showing up around noon or so to pull parts and then I`m going back to pay for the 240 . Pics as soon as it gets home . The shell is straight with no crash damage , the front end is all good . Going to strip it out , take it to my body man and get it all straight and painted and then just swap all my parts over . Plus it is a late 90` so I will get a little more off on the property taxes next year :wavetowel2:

Well , was going to be bringing the new car home this weekend but this damn snow has put an end to that plan . Rain for the better part of 4 days then having it change over to snow will slow things up for at least another week . I got things to do and can`t do them :gaah:

The car is straight but ugly as homemade soap . I think somebody painted it with a roller or something . Somewhere along the line there was a twin cam motor swapped into the car but none of that matters since I am going to strip the car to a shell and paint it inside and out then just swap over all my new parts . I`ll start stripping it down as soon as it warms up a bit , it was 15 degrees when I picked it up this morning . Anyhow , this is the next step in my 240 journey , more pics to come .

Well since I am going to strip the car to a shell , I can pretty much make it any color I want . As far as where I`m going with the body , 180sx kouki ish . I had a new in the box front cover with the fender extensions and all new brackets but sold them . The cover I have now is a urethane cover so it will not crack and bust when I forget to come in at an angle . I just ordered the rear bumper extension and am currently trying to find a set of factory kouki side skirts that aren`t busted all to pieces . Like I said , soon as I get a couple good days with some warmer weather I`m going to start pulling it apart and once it is all to a shell it is going to my paint guy for some love .

A couple more pics for today . I figured the seats in the car were trash since they had covers over them and the general condition of the interior , but in fact they happened to be one of the best sets I have seen . A little scrubbing with some foam cleaner and a bit of vaccuuming they will look almost like new . As far as the never been hit in the front part , once I started pulling things off under the hood I found some issues . Nothing too bad but it is not the virgin I thought it was :1duh .Anyway , the weather is going to be in my favor again tomorrow so I should get everything stripped out of the inside other than the dash and find out how many little rust spots there are to fix . On a color note , I`m thinking about going with B17 , 350z Daytona Blue . Til then , a couple pics of the day .

Out of work early today as I hoped , I got pretty much all the interior and rear lights out and assessed the rust which isn`t bad . I took another look at the engine harness that swapped into the car and it turned out to be a 95` with internal coil in the dizzy , a very bad job of swapping , good thing I`m going to use my complete harness since nothing has been hacked on it . I`m kinda up in the air about weather I want to leave the manual windows or swap in my power later . If it doesn`t start raining tomorrow or get cold as balls again I will get the dash and remaining inside stuff out , then everything under the hood . Anyhow , everybody`s favorite part , pics .
