So, I put in my walbro today.. (Been putting it off forever) and I found the problem of why I am spilling gas.... And it is a little irritating haha. The fuel pump assembly didn't have a gasket like it was supposed to... In fact... It didn't even have bolts -.- Which explains the gas spill. I should have looked into it sooner :p Anyway... If anybody knows what size the bolts are and what size the o ring gasket is let me know. I will try and google it.

You definitely want that gasket. Just grab one new for cheap or if you are really desperate take one from the junkyard if they have it. Doesn't matter if it is too big because you can cut it. I'm not sure of the pitch, but the bolt heads are 8mm.

This thing is coming along great

Also, when you start your body work, I would do

wash car
surface prep with like rubbing alcohol (Not sure if this is needed yet)
Remove windows (if doing a whole paint job)
Mask off the interior
get all the areas underneath the window trim with decent sandpaper

surface prep here for sure with rubbing alcohol or whatever is the right chemical cleaner
epoxy primer here? not sure
[
then add filler on top of the primer
sand again
] Repeat these until the body is how you want it

Then primer
paint
clear

necessary sanding in between each

It's been a while since I looked at the specifics. Just make sure to get a paint system from one manufacturer. Don't mix and match.

As for the dent in the rear, just get one of those body hammer set things from harbor freight and hit it from the inside of the car. It's just better to keep the filler to a minimum. DO NOT USE BONDO, yes I'm yelling

what color were you painting it btw

I hope to relocate my harness so I can get it down to 1 finger then pick up a...
If you haven't already done this you should get some zip ties and tie the harness up in your fender. I was talking to a guy at autozone that owns like ten 240's and thats what he was telling me when I started talking about gettin coilovers and such HAHA. If you already took care of it then don't mind me.

Sweet ride by the way. it's lookin pretty sick.

Picking up a 2 core aluminum radiator with electric fans here in next 2 weeks. Added a little bit of camber to front wheels (Need longer lower control arms). Going to start fixing the dents soon.

Not sure how I wanna wire my electric fans... I think I just will have them running whenever car is on. That is how the clutch fan worked so it should work the same way (Correct me if I am wrong).
