The car is also younger than 18, but it was good for a laugh.

I stared at the headlights i bought, then gazed into the thunderstorm coming. That was like 2 hours ago... First time I've thought of them since. I have a feeling this is gong to collect dust next to my one of a kind speaker box project. Fuuuyuuu

Looking at that listing, it appears that you have a 4WD?

LOL you are correcct! It does sit up pretty tall...monster truck 240...HA.
But I have two kids ( 5 year old and 1 year old) and I don't want to leave them and the wife stranded at home with no way to get anywhere if I have the truck at work.
If you scroll back a few pages you will see the snow we get here...and the 240 and snow dont mix.
So its either keep the 240 and miss work when it snows....or sell the 240 and get another 4x4 for my daily driver. Funny thing is...after posting it for sale....I am thinking about keeping it..and just take off work in nasty snow days. What a crappy way to use vacation days...but I keep my 240.
what to do....what to do..?? LOL

Mikester...Sweet man!! lovin the car!

Dude- Most people GO to work in order to keep their cars, not stay home :D A better choice would be to buy up a $500-1000 FWD snowmobeater to drive to work, and let the wife & kids stay nice & safe with the 4x4.

Thanks for the kind words man- loving the car too... but the nickels & dimes are killing me ATM. Maybe I should take some vacation days to afford them :p

Mikester - I see an awesome engine, but whats up with the loom/fuseboxs? Not keen on relocating them?

They are going to stay at or near the OEM locations. It's not a show car, so no need for wire tuck. But I have a plan you may or may not like when complete.

Wat r u doing bedliner. Dis is not a truck.
Boostin'... Herculiner is totally bulletproof if you're wanting to add grip to da floor there... Light years better than the spray-on. Still awesome tho!

Thanks dude... Pretty sure it's in the opening post of my build thread.

Road trips, drag, circuit, street, date night... All around fun-mobile.

NO drift- got too much into it for that=)

OK I pulled the Craigslist ad. Decided to keep the car...I like it to much.
Had about 10 people wanting the rims only and about seven people wanting to trade
For other import cars.
So guess I will be getting me a timing chain kit for it this weekend.

Continued sorting out wiring... Installed Splitfire system, more hoses/lines & test-fitted radiator...

For those who may wonder, unlike the stock fan.. the radiator & shroud drop in right past the GKtech fan with plenty of room to spare- Which made me even HAPPIER with the purchase! Thank you again for turning me on to that, Mr. Boostin~ :D

Finished waxing her, and also switched out the tension rod bushings for ES polyurethane bushings.. Feels good so far, but still getting a "clunk" when I stop from the front end that I can feel in the brake pedal. Next step is new brake pads to try to get rid of clunk.
