ok well im doing an sr swap and all i need now is to get the right driveshaft that fits my car and i want to know wich is the one i need? my car has a vlsd and it 5speed it came with one but it dosnt fit its too long what drive shaft do i need?

does your car have abs or not?
i ordered a DSS drivehaftshop brand 1 pc steel for "s14 non abs steel"
ka and sr use same shaft, just need to know whether or not you have abs.

my car does not have abs i beilieve but i have a vlsd so the back of the diff is different

I believe it is just the ABS the matters. Having a VLSD should not affect driveshaft length at all although I can see why you would think it would.

99% of VLSD Diffs were in ABS Housings.
All you need to know is if the Housing is ABS or not. Don't worry about the VLSD.
Just check if it has the ABS sensor or not.
Plain and simple.
With how often and easy the diffs are to swap in these things you can have a ABS Diff in a Non ABS car like mine.

Oh alright and yea I'm sure the diff was swapped and how do I know if the housing is abs?

But isn't it possible to change the back of the diff where the driveshaft connects? Or if the housing isn't abs that tail part shouldn't be abs either?
