Hello again everyone, today I come to you with a question about lowering my 240. As of right now she is sitting at stock ride height and I want to get her looking more aggressive and low. Now I want it looking similar to car below. Can I accomplish this with just aftermarket shocks, struts, and lowering spring or do I need to go the coilover route to get this kinds of fitment.

I have tried to do some research on cheaper coilovers, as I dont race my car I just daily it, but from what I have read if I just want to daily it then I am better off going with shocks and spring because it is cheaper. All I really want to know is can I get the desired look I want with spring and shocks or should I invest in some coilovers.

I'd say whatever fits your budget better. But for mostly daily driver struts and lowering springs will be more comfortable yet give you better handling on and off track. Coils would be best only cause you can change the ride height and dial in exactly where you want. But with coils you'll send more and have a stiffer ride.

I can see tread in front.....hoooooooorrible wheel choice.

Don't forget you'll likely need toe and traction arms, as you can't really adjust just one and not mess up the others. Triangulated setup. (That's low enough it's preeeeeeeetty likely)

Are you talking about that red hatch with the p45rs? I think it looks rather nice.

Ok, I was looking into KYB shocks with tien s-tech lowering springs, it gives me the look I am going for without to serious of a drop. For the toe and traction arms would I need them for front and rear or just the front since I have the rear camber kit on already.

I think you might want to Google 240sx suspension arms set.

other than the fact the wheels/ tires are poking out at least an inch. He at least needs to roll the fenders.

it's just a lot to explain and there are detailed explanations about what they do and where they go. not difficult so don't be intimidated, just read up before you buy, then read more when you're ready to install.
