I was wondering if it's possible to replace a rear passenger side quarter panel, well I mean, w/o taking it to a shop. the front fenders and the front bumper can be unbolted and such. But can I do the same for the rear as well? or does it require welding? let me know.

·no u cant just unbolt them. look closer!!
u have to cut out that section and weld on a new one..either that or pull the dents or watever happened and bondo it smooth again

My front driver side panel is missing when I bought the car, is it possible to buy this piece somewhere and somehow attach it on?
There are these 2 circular thingies there so I was thinking its a hook on job.

there are two ways to put on new rear skins on your car one is to tack weld the new quarter panel then sand and fill the other is to rivet it on with a pop rivet gun using the right size rivets, then sand and fill. If you don't know how to weld, you can go with the pop rivets,but they are more prone to rust out.
If it is just a dent you can get a slide hammer drill small holes in the dent and bang them out, or if you can reach it on the inside of the fender you can slowly bang it out using a body hammer. then fill with body filler sand and paint

if u have a contour gauge... and ur good at banging out metal, you won't even need filler...

heh, wow, lotta work for it I guess, well I was wondering if it was worth it to buy a 93 240SX coupe with a "tear" "hole" something or other on the rear quarter panel, they want 800 for it, uhh...it's black and has 146K miles on it, would it be worth it to get this car? mind you I still have to go see it and whatever.....well, in you guys opinion..what you think?
