Alright! Little update. Nothing fancy, though. Getting closer to having new wheels on the car though! The rear wheels came in on Tuesday so on Wednesday I parked the car, got it up on a jack stand, and started tearing her down to get the wheel hub off. Man, was this a pain. For some reason my calipers smelled like horse crap as well, like the car had just come out of a barn. Anyways, lol. I get it down to the wheel hub and read a few forums on how to get it off. I tried getting at it from behind with a hammer, but it wouldn't budge. A few people said to take the arms off the knuckle so you could pivot it down and have a better angle to hit it at, but the same thing happened, wouldn't budge. So I went ahead, sprayed it with some PB Blaster and let it soak. Came home today and figured I would give it another go and if nothing else, I would get a torch and try to heat it up a bit. What I actually started doing was I would pull on the hub itself, and hit on the knuckle to try and loosen it up. Eventually I was able to see a gap between the two and freely spin the dust covere. Kept at it a little bit and it eventually let go, along with me falling on my ass, lol. Went ahead, put the new hub/bearing on the car, put the caliper back on, and slid the wheel back on to check the clearances. Now this wheel is a 18x10.5 with a +30 offset and again, I won't have my 5-lug rotors until next week, so the wheel is actually going to be sitting 5mm-8mm further than it will be in these pictures, but, it clears the strut by more than the front, so I think I'm going to be able to get away with 0 spacers on this one, but once I run over fenders I will probably get some just to make sure I'm getting as close to 0 camber wear as I can and push it out a little bit more for aesthetics. Now that I've done this, I have a question. And you'll see in the picture from the top-down view, it looks like the wheel is actually crooked. Can anyone tell me what this could be the result of or if it's actually normal or do you think the alignment is so out of whack that the toe is pushing the wheel inwards in the front?

On with the photos!

Finally got it off! (don't mind the rust, it will be getting cut out and a new piece welded in this fall when I do the overfenders.)

This is the old wheel/tire compared to the new wheel. Who knew 10.5 inches was that much larger than 7? Hahahah

This is the strut clearance I have now, WITHOUT the rotors. So again, I'll have even more once they're on the car. Finger for representation.

This is how close it is sitting to the LCA right now, again, finger for representation.

Now this is what I'm talking about. From the top-down it looks like the wheel is bent inwards towards the front of the car. I don't get it.

And a few more pictures with the springs compressed with the jack to get the hellaflush look I'm NOT going for, lol.

I should be getting tires ordered today and getting them put on next weekend. Looks like I should be good on clearance with the wheels and tires. Rotors come in this week as well as the spacers. Then I'll get the front on with a tire and make sure it's going to clear, same with the rear. Then I'll be getting an alignment. I plan on upgrading all the suspension arms. There's actually a guy with an ISR (ISIS) Pro Set on Craigslist around the corner from my girlfriend's place asking $250 for it brand new. I may have to end up picking that up.

Baby update. Tires came today. Should be mounted and in the car tomorrow. Suspense got the best of me so I put them under the car and they look like they're meant to be there. I can't wait to get them on.

Well, wish I had an update, but I don't. Tires got mounted on the wheels. Front seem to be okay. have a little over half an inch away from the strut perch, but could also be because the car is still on jack stands in the rear because one of the calipers is now leaking brake fluid and the other side won't go on because one of the slides is so rusted it won't budge and since my brakes were wearing unevenly I had purchased new pads and there's no way I'm getting the caliper back over it now. Awesome. And I get to wake up in 3 hours (I know, I shouldn't have tried to get this done tonight, but we all know how we are when it comes to our cars and new goodies) and work 13 hours. If I'm not dead by tomorrow I'll update when anything happens. At this point it looks like I'm going to need to buy a new bracket and a new caliper, only to turn around and when I have the money upgrade to 300zx rears. Shitty.

Most spacers up to 10mm are slip on spacers. 15mm and bigger are usually bolt on spacers. Keep in mind that when adding spacers you will probably need to run more camber if you plan on lowering the car more. Unless you just don't mind truckin.

You can check:

Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit

RIMTUCK.com - Wheel Fitment Database

to compare your current wheel setup with the setup you plan on using. It doesn't account for camber correction, but you will get the jist of it.
I got mine from Andy's auto sport. I have to run 10mm upfront.

Consider yourself lucky. The guy I purchased mine from drove it up. I had to cut the front license plate off. I then took it for a test drive and discovered my rear struts were completely gone. My rear end bounced more than I cared to admit publically. I had 3 CEL's that I had to take care of and I had a rear brake sieze up on me and spew fluid all over the place. Sigh, that isn't including the broken door panels, switches and lights all not working.

Actually, a mirror was broken, the turn sign switch was broken the light switch was broken sunroof seal broken, junk in the truck (not the good kind either), cmc shot, slaved cyclinder torqued down by Heman and the world worst tint job pealing off on the rear window.

If you can cross reference to see if s13 brackets will work, I'm fairly certain I have a set, you can have them for shipping cost. I'll have to double check tomorrow.

I appreciate it but I ordered just a set of guide pins off Amazon and will hopefully get them today or tomorrow for that side and the other side will need a complete caliper
Ah, alright. I have a set of both s14 and s13 rear knuckles and brackets, but no calipers. Calipers aren't terribly expensive on rock auto.

The set we ordered were $150 after the core charge. Just hate waiting, lol. But luckily we can get a set tomorrow morning and I get off work at noon, so fingers crossed! Maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up though, lol. I did snap a few shots of the front though... They do poke a little, but I'm not completely turned off by them. It's not terrible and will look better with a slight camber adjustment and the rear should sit perfectly. May need to roll the fenders once I go lower though and if I plan on doing over fenders I may need large spacers for the rear, but I don't know if I'll even need to do that now.

Looks pretty nice! I also hate waiting for parts.

Seeing your car out in the rain makes me cringe. So over protective of my car now(weird yea, but oh well). All the rust repair I did killed driving it in anything other than sunshine. Lol

Haha. I plan on building a car port, but she is going to be my daily for a little while. Plus I've still got to fix the rust repair regardless so hopefully it doesn't get too much worse than it already is before I tackle it!

Okay, guys! The moment you've all been waiting for. The big reveal! Lol. I finally got the calipers on and bled and got to drive my car for the first time in a week :D I'll definitely get better pictures, but I was running low on time, got them on and had to go to dinner and then had to get to my girlfriend's and take care of her, so there will be more pictures, these are just the ones I snapped really quick. Also, I know, I still have to put the center caps on. I haven't decided which way I'm going to do them. No way makes it sit symmetrical and I'm super OCD so I'm going to have to think about it for a bit, lol. As far as the tires go, I don't like them. Way too responsive! It grips all day! I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it, lol. Just kidding, but all jokes aside, I can't wait to get coilovers and the rear tires rub, and that is it. Front tires clear everything perfect, have enough room in the rear for the perch to not even come close to the tire, but there's so much grip and body roll that the tires actually meet the outer rear fender under medium to hard cornering. Definitely need a stiffer suspension and I'm going to roll and possibly pull the fenders a little. It has a little poke all the way around, but I think the rears look really good. Having no aero really doesn't help on her 4x4 status either, lol. Personally I think that there's just enough poke for the rears. Rolling it looks good and sitting isn't too bad either. Not enough for over fenders, but nothing a 25mm spacer can't help, lol. But that's all in time and if I don't like the roll/pull. Anyways, onto a few pics!

Ass shot my buddy took while I was checking front clearance at the gas station, lol.
