Well I got the cap, rotor, and wires on.

No more misfire, and for whatever reason it'll actually idle at about 750 now. Not sure why that changed.

Do these cars usually have a thump to the idle? When it drops to 750-800 it's got a little thump.

I still have an exhaust leak somewhere around the test pipe. Starting to irritate me.

Also REALLY need to put the other struts back in the rear. It has settled more and now it scrubs the tires over large bumps or dips.
Mine had a lope til I changed the alternater....I know, weird! And, taking a wild, dumb luck guess here, the vibration might just be a thing with the resonance of the exhaust tone vs. the structure of the car body, like a violin...when I installed my ATI damper, it still had it,....But again, I'm guessing. I know, my other vehicles don't have it either....maybe they're just not quite in "tune"

Well, I went for about a 25 mile cruise today. Couple dips had the right rear scrubbing the fender. Went home, passed Bad Mammjamma without even realizing it, and promptly swapped out the rear struts. It sits more even and higher.

It rides much much better now, and no more scrubbing tires or dragging the exhaust into my driveway. Went for another 23ish mile drive and hit a few curves. It seems much more comfortable. Thinking the other struts were on their way out, or already dead.

Bad Mammjamma said the car sounded nice when I went by, so that's a little comforting.

Today is garage cleaning day. It's 34° so this should be interesting. Hopefully get another cruise in this afternoon. Maybe some video!
Garage cleaning is what I will be doing when I get home from this TDY! Then get the bike running and do a bit of work on the 14 with the stuff I have until I get my 350Z to ohio.

What's the deal with that Z? Seems like you've been waiting months.

So squishy leaky power steering line is being squishy and leaky. The reservoir line also leaks at the pump. Quite frustrating when I just cleaned the garage.

Also have a small brake line leak on driver's side rear where the hardline meets the soft line. Was too busy cleaning to mess with it. Was contemplating making braided lines to run all the way back similar to my fronts, but that's money better spent elsewhere right now.

Sooo....has anyone run a (insert brand here) braided high pressure line? Worth it to just replace the pump too?

I made my own HP powersteering line. Replaced the banjo on the pump with AN fittings. Definitely fixed my leaking pump, the only problem I couldn't figure out is if a -10AN fitting would bolt onto the return side underneath the pump. Definitely worth replacing the High pressure line with a braided one. Just make sure you cut to the exact length you need. Too long and it kinda just bends where it wants, too short and you're SOL.

Not much to report. Waiting until Payday to order my stuff for the power steering line. Don't want to drive it much with the leak. Probably try to swap the diffs on Sunday.
