Hey there. I bought a stock s14 zenki yesterday!
Bone stock except 5 lug conversion, coilover, anti roll bars and aftermarket airfilter.
I'm looking forward to getting lots of insights from you guys in the upcoming days!
I don't plan to put much of mods as I try to preserve factory features but would love to improve handling and appearance of the car. not to mention, the health of the car.
Looking forward to getting lots of advices from you!

It's kinda quiet here but welcome. Grats.

Start replacing all the bushings. Steering rack. Knuckles. Tension rods. How rough you want your ride is up to you (ala OEM -> Nismo -> poly -> spherical.

Thank you. Mine does not need any new bushings yet. It's got 8000 miles only and checked out every one of them this morning although it's got other issues. Thank you again.

Age is a thing.

8,000 miles?

How did you check? Most will seem fine til they're removed. Ex: see my power steering bushings that were rock hard and crumbly. I guarantee your 29 year old bushings could do with refreshing lol.

Take that same answer for most things on the car. It's old and time is not your friend lol

Have you already started checking over things like bushings or suspension components for wear? Sometimes on older cars, even just refreshing the basics can make a huge difference. what kind of look or stance are you aiming for with the appearance tweaks?
Hey Josh, I'm glad to see another member. This forum is almost dead... Yeah ofc. You can find plenty of threads of mine in tech section. Only discovered 37 issues and resolved all but 3. Welded diff which I will change this Thurs, crank seal leak, oil pan leak. Then I will install the aero package (still prepping for painting) and finally adjust ride height, damper setting and then off I go for alignment. The long quest will be then finally over.
