The best year for the 240

What is the best year Nissan 240SX overall? 95 ? 98? which one?
I like 98 best cause of the headlights and the agressive stance

or which one is easier to do the SR swap?

There is really no diffrence, except 89-90 are kinda boxy and have sohc engines, and the 91-94 are pretty good. They 89-94 are about 100 lbs lighter then 95-98. They are all equally easy, except for sohc 89-90, i believe some stuff doesnt line up.

In what way is the 89-90 more boxy than 91-93? And the 94, being convertable, shouldn't be as light as the other s13's.

you can say the front signal lights on the 89-90 make the car look a little more boxy than the 91-94, and the two scoops make it look boxy.... but it's only my opinion

95 to 96, they have less "stuff" on them which can get in the way of modifications like suspension, OBDII, etc.

Based on looks alone the 98 is the sweetest... but I think the 93 is the best year because its the newest s13 you can get here.

OBD = On Board Diagnostic. II has more emission related sensors/monitors/plugs than I.

I once heard a rumor that when OBDIII comes out, that's when the government can monitor your emission stuff. lets say you're spitting out too much NOx, there'll be a government truck coming after you. hahhahaa i hope it really is a rumor.
