Oh yea I know you wont have anything down low but the point is you buy better cams for better performance. When you open your car up how many times do you fly around at 2500 rpm....lol. But I see what your saying, im just making it difficult, lol. I happen to love V-tec.....I wish we had it. But the reason hondas have no torque is there head design. If you want low end torque still and a bit higher end just put a set of hotcams (91) cams in, very mild

when you get straight down to it the best thing to do is to keep your car in sound running condition. If any money is spend focus on the suspension. If your not using forced induction or getting a swap than I can't think of anything significant that you could do or worth spending your money on. Since a carpet and a seat and some panels doesn't weigh a few hundred pounds than i'd hold off on the tearing up of your interior. True weight reduction goes far beyond removing a silly carpet,seat and panels

if you want serious weight reduction then your goin to have to have some $$ to replace all the heavy parts of your car with lighter weight parts. hood, glass, fenders, backseat, etc...
