This shows how closely domestics and imports can come to satisfying your wants. Don't discount the American's, especially the Corvette's and Camaro's. The small block chevy is my favorite engine of all time and offers the absolute best bang for your buck in the camaro's, while something tells me that the C5 Corvette would be a very capable drifter, if anyone would actually risk one.

I don't knock on Domestocs because they do have power no matter how you look at them. They also have tons of aftermarket suspension vendors. So with money you can make anything you want. I just like Nissan because they're dependable, I guess I'm cheap.

Any who we got a Z06 sign up for our next drift Session, so I guess we'll see how they handle getting sideways.

What sport was it called when you see those go-kart looking cars going around on a big circle dirt track.? Their almost sideways all the time and crashing. funny stuff!

So who IS the best on the driftsession?..not just one of the best!

I was at the DGtrials event here in Jersey last month and Somebody had a Mach1(?) Mustang. I believe he was drag racing (they have time trials on Wed. there) and decided to drift. Anyway, it was cool that he didnt jsut show up to show off his V8 power, they seemed to have alot of fun. Its good to see open minded people. I believe he earned alot of respect from people that were there.

There were two dudes driving that car.

And it wasn't the only domestic there. The LI crew was down one 240 so they brought out their Camaro:

read the article. read some post replies on it. didnt bother to go through page 2 & 3. and this is what i think. i've been hearing this from the muscle car guys for years now. after a while you just get used to it or tired of it and, just let it go because you come to realize that they're allowed to have an opinion too. if they think nissans are trash, fukc 'em. why get bent out of shape because of whats going on in some ******** head some thousand miles away? its not even worth getting stressed over what other people think. its like high school again. "he said that about your car." "ooooh", "damn, you gonna let 'em talk sh!t?" "go talk some sh!t back!!" I know some of you are still in high school. laugh it off, its what i do and you come to realize, IT IS kinda funny what they think. another thing i noticed which doesnt really matter is: you'll talk crap to a certain extent till some "240sx Yoda" jumps in and says something like "your being ignorant" and "your acting like a noob." then, your quick to eat your words with "well, i wasnt talking sh!t, i was just saying..." whats with that? take a stand, Custer

It's not just in the drift scene either. Most of the people who drive these American muscle cars are complete idiots. I don't know how many times I have about gotten into a fist fight because some guy in a camaro will try to race me and then after I wipe his a$$, he gets out the car and wants to fight. C'mon people grow up! I will admit it goes both ways but from my expererience it is usually the muscle car drivers that run thier mouths 9 times out of 10. Can we say PENIS ENVY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I thought it was mainly the ricer types that had that whole "screw american cars, they cant handle" attitude. Why do you only have to like one type of car? Your only hurting yourself. I find it funny, how you take offense to car craft calling hondas and nissans "pukey" , and then go on to use the stereotypical ******* technology jokes that are so associated with ignorant ricers. A lot of you guys talk so much about how skill is the most important aspect of drifting, so who cares what kind of car your driving. And correct me if im wrong but doesnt the famous ae86 drift car use a fairly outdated live axle? Don't call people ignorant if you dont have an open mind either. And I hate to break it to you but drag racing is a lot more accesible than most motorsports.

too big? Haven't any of you ever heard of a chaser??
chasers might be heavier than s13/14, ae86, fc but still lighter than v8 and have better weight ratio.

If they want to drift let them, drifting is drifting. I wonder when either ford, chevy will come out with domestic drift car or rwd 4banger. i am sure they will jump on the bandwagon like they did with focus with import drag.

GET THE FUCK OVER IT AND DRIVE!

all of you whiney bitch poser wanna be hard core tough guy import tunner reading, (this is where i breathe) ignorant little, man ass eating shits.

shut the fuck up! you wont smoke a v8 with out alot of work and with luck you will smoke a stock one, and it doesnt matter what people drive just that they do drive, dont you asshats get ti driftign is about te driver not the car.
