Fiberglass S13.5 fenders we made a long time ago, the first set of those we got fit fine on our 240sx, molds later after time the edge of the fenders rose to an angle , which caused them not to fit later on without modification.

I guess the best thing would be for someone on the board who is in need of s13.5 fenders or who already has masa or something on their car and wants wide ones to come in and we can compare and take pictures.

well, guys, im not defending Ted in anyway, but one of the key ways to reduce gaps, is to use the S14.5/S15 radiator support.

The holes all line up perfectly. Using a modified w/ brakets on the S13 will work, but flaws will be there.

Though C-Wings makes high quality stuff, The conversion fenders are the delicate and most important piece to the conversion. I would just go with Masa and not even fool with trying a new piece.

Sorry i dis-agree totally about the radiator support. Many people i know personally as well as i think Jspec knows has done with out it....a friend of mine did it and it came out perfect with out the radiator support...to be honest the money in buying and then installing the support you could buy hid for your headlights and get some other stuff...and not waste the money. And Ted i heard no reply about the gaps i saw in the pictures with the carbon fiber.

I would like to make a point that you just cant modify carbon fiber like fiberglass...in fact it needs to be a PERFECT fitmit or it wont fit... yes you can bend and so fourth but that gap i see wont get removed from bending.

well still thats besides the point the support wont get rid of the gab....to be honest my friend has sponsership from Tomie (or how ever its spelled) and to be honest they didnt do the support isssue....so still comes down to the fact that there are gaps in the carbon fiber on the driver side near the headlight...so i would like to know the deal with that.... And siizzzooo i totally agree with you but i just wanted to let others know the support is a must needed items like perfect fit fenders...cause i been down the road with bad fenders just like you...

gap???? u guys are bitching about gaps that can barely be seen??? damn, that cf conversion is clean for no modifications... most stock s13s have more gappage and imperfections than that... u must remember, cf cant be refabbed or greatly modded, just bent a little.. knowing this, if those parts fit that well and are cf, then fitment is really good.. remember, even masa and west yok, you have to modify.. they wont fit completely perfect just sticking them on.. as for sizzzooo's conversion, i have to admit his car is by far the cleanest ive seen (and its even in primer).. u can tell he loves his car and would rather starve than do a half-ass job.. me, if it gets me by and looks good, im cool with it...but those cf fenders do fit extremely well tho..

look gapping is gapping and the fact of the matter is that there are some gap's in the importfan fenders that i can just seen from photos on the internet...that doesnt mean there arent more that i cant tell of.... just saying...yeah that little gap is a thing about perfection...sorry but perfection means perfect and a gap isnt perfect. i give much props to sizzzooo and to be honest he does have a very clean front....but we are off topic here...

the topic are conversion fenders...correct me if i am wrong...would u want to buy a set of carbon fiber fenders that where gapping near the headlights? i wouldnt...its like buying a carbon fiber hood that doesnt fit right...you just wont do it...unless its so cheap its not worth passing up.... but lets face it here....they said the fit...but it looks like they dont....i mean they got the passenger side to look very clean just not the driver side in my mind...yes its very clean else wise...but look when ur dishing out the money on a s15 front end conversion then i am sure u want it to be perfect...look at sizzoo he wants it to be as perfect as possible.... and yeah u do have to slightly mod the Mesa and some of the other fenders...but OEM S15 metal fenders dont need modifcation...so i would persume on would use those to make molds...who knows maybe i am dumb and complicated...but if i am spending almost 2k on just parts alone then i want them to be good parts...

end of rant

sorry yall

what?!?!? s15 oem fenders dont need mods???!?!?! they need the most modification..!!!hahahaha!! u obviously havent done enough homework on the subject.. not trying to bag on u or nothing... but s15 oem fenders need the most fabbing.. usually have to cut and weld to old fenders.... masa and wy are good but like i said, expensive and u have to wait forever for them.. thats cool, go with them if u have the time.. they need some modding too tho... im just saying, those cf ones are extremely well made if they just slap on and look like that... remember, im just pointing out the fact that if u were to slap the cf ones on and they look like that, thats pretty good for no modding.. if u were to slap the masa or wy, they would prolly look a lil like that too(maybe a lil better or lil worse).. personal experience with my s15 front tells me that for no modding, those cf ones fit pretty well..

Sorry to say but I got three friends with the S15 front and OEM Fenders where what Two of them used...Secondly MEsa and other fenders are FIBER glass...meaning u can change just about everything with resin and fiber...Carbon fiber if it dont fit right it dont fit at all....So if you can please explain to me how to get rid of the gap near the driver side tail light...not trying to fight or argue just woundering....for 800 or what ever they asking for i rather pay for the mesa fenders and still pay for modding them instead of having fenders that cant be modded at alll....

Dude wait it out a bit... I will more or likely be selling two sets of fenders that will have been fitted already on a Perfect framed 240...but to be honest i think they are making a mold from them and will be selling them shortly...just hold off if you can.... And you know what TEd from Importfan never came back online to talk about the gaps... I AM not SHOOTING Ted down he could be busy but i am just saying

correct..driftmotoring, me and u do agree on the fact that fiberglass can be modded and cf cant.. im just pointing out that right off the bat, those cf fenders do pretty well... my personal opinion.. get s15 oem fenders for about 350 and get a good conversion body man to weld them and fit them to your stock fenders.. cost a whole lot more but will fit perfect and theyre metal instead.. easy way out, fiberglass masa... dont wanna pay for paint, cf hood, fenders and bumper (hey i dont like it but who knows, whatever floats ur boat)

Well i got a black 240 and got the full carbon comming... the fact is not to leave it un painted i am going to give it a transparent tint...so that when ur far it looks all black when i drive by it looks black when ur in front of it like 5 feet away it looks carbon ....hehe.... And i agree about the steel fenders fact is i will have 2 sets of each befor i am done..
