Why not just go with the S14 design, but replace it with a hatch with the headlights totally down. And pignose.

The shirt MUST have the pignose! Lazy eyes are cool, but not so low like in that picture that Tufordee drew. That's just too low. Maybe between totally up and all the way down. Then put two projectors in each headlight. I saw a conversion to keep the lights flip style, but have two projectors in each bulb instead of the normal one (on eBay some guy made himself, it was pretty nice).

As long as it's pignose, lowered, and the headlights are either down, up, or at the halfway point ... I think everyone would be happy. But since the car is prolly gonna be from a front view of some kind, the tail lights aren't necessary.

But if you want the Kouki Silvia tail lights, here is an idea. Have the front of the shirt at a center frontal with only the front of the car showering from either a camera angle even with the car or up while keeping the pignose. Then have the same angle on the back of the shirt, only instead of the front of the shirt, have the rear with the tailights done up Kouki style.

But what about a wing? No wing? Stock spoiler? Or a touring style or something? I say no wing. But if there is a wing, go with the stock style.

sleepy eyes are a must along with kouki tailights! lowered too. i would buy one!
say no to kouki lights

these two things confuse me. its rice to spend $150 or so on modified civic tailights, but yet its ok to spend $500 on 'kouki' lights?

ehh... but $500 is like 1/3 of a rb20 or like a 1/5 of a sr20.

or 1/3 of a bad ass coilover system

could go to alot better stuff. they dont even look good in my opinion. whats wrong with the stock ones?

i didn't tell you to buy them! i didn't buy them either! we are collaborating on what would LOOK best! most of us agree that the kouki tails look incredible. the picture can have them without the ridiculous price tag. i will buy a shirt when completed!

p.s. i didn't ask if you thought the kouki tails were a good buy so please keep it to yourself. although i do agree with you 100%, i didn't ask, nor do i care! some kid's view on the value of a tailight will not influence me on the design of a shirt. thanks alot

Just something to break and cry about when a good drift goes bad IMO.

Everybody has accidents, and if you don't...then you're not pushing it hard enough. And when accidents DO happen, you might end up ruining your 500 dollar taillights. I know I would cry, for the fact that my rare, sweet ass lights are busted. And for the fact that 500 bucks just went down the drain. Now think of what you could have spent that 500 bucks on... Don't get me wrong, I love kouki tails. But it's not the most practical thing to do to the car. I don't have an easy 500 bucks to shell out on something like that when there is always a maintenance or performance upgrade that could be done. I'd never spend that much on tail lights, but I've said it before and I'll say it again... if somebody were to give me a set I'd have no objection. ;)

as i said, nobody asked whether you thought they were "practical". we don't care!!! we want the shirt to look good and the kouki's look good. although i do agree with you on the value and uselessness(?) of the tailights and the fact that i wouldn't pay for em, the shirt doesn't suffer from monetary constraints! we can do whatever we want to the picture such as rims, lower, tint, lights, kit, etc. i understand these things are not top priority for most of us, but for the pic it is. thanks
