Ok, I posted a while ago about rebuilding my SR20DET because of a spun rod. This was put into a 92 Nissan hard body. It seem as if somebody doesn't want me to get this thing going. Shawn is sending me a block I can use with is good. Got that for 350. Ripped the carpet out and tossed it...soaked in oil. Ew, that was so nasty  . Today I was hot tanking the cams trying to clean them up when I realized my cams had over 3mm worth of wear on some lobs... Also when I stated the pistons broke..That was incorrect too. The one melted. So I pulled the other 3 and when I get a image of it on my cam I'll toss the bad one. :thumbsup I didn't break it so why keep it..you know? So it seems that once my new block arrives I'll be installing new bearings, new rings, fly, clutch, and pending new cams...keep you updated.

Time for HKS stage 1 cams if you can afford it!
Good idea but right now I'm still pending Steady (full time) work. So I'm gonna find some stockers and just toss them in. When I do it I'll be doing more along the lines of a stage 2 setup...Real agressive.

Most of the hoses I have are pretty good. I striped the old block dry. Put it in the bed of the truck (to lazy right now) till I can get it to the dump. When my new block shows I'll clean and prep and refresh the whole thing and reinstall it. I can't wait. I'm really excited with this new project. I will end up buying new cams before the year is out..Mine are shot. Over 3mm on some of the Intake cam journals...
