Here this should help alot
85 on the relay is a low voltage input you could hook it up to parking light positive if you wanted i did it's cool fog lights flash with my alarm

YES!!!! go to radioshack get a 12V relay the relay sends lo voltage in and takes the high power of the bat to run the lights
if you dont use a relay you could
Fry your wires
fry your fuseable link
or your lights will not be as bright as thay could be

a relay is about 5$ check ebay if ya want

i would jus hit up radio shack, ebay would take to long, u could have ur fog lights up and running the same day,
