i've been looking into the greddy bolt-on turbo kit for my 97 s14. does anybody have this on their car? i'm just wondering how well it works? how difficult is the install? and what is the cheapeset price you guys have seen this kit sell for?

Yes it has been covered alot but from what I hear the kit comes with no inst. and shit you have to guess on where it go's. It usually takes around 30 hours to install from what I see people posting and thats with the fmic. The cheapest I've seen the kit is $2,500 w/o fmic and a extra $650.00 with it. Regaurdless of what people say about the kit this is going to be the one I get.

jesus....30hours? i wonder how long it would take a shop to do it. this is the kit i want too

It would take a shop prolly more time remember these are people that deal with turbos usually I'm sure if you have 2 people working on it you could get it done in around 10 hours. Most of the time was spent trying to figure out where bolts go and which pipe go's where. Just put it on yourself it's not that hard.

i installed my greddy turbo kit with fmic in less than 30 hours for sure. the kit is nice i think. turbo spools up decent. my car hits full boost of .7bar before 4k rpm. you'll be happy with the kit but if you want to boost it more i recommend ditching the 370's

its made for 96-98 models with OBDII

my greddy kit is on my 95'(obd I?) bolts up perfect , runs awesome, idles like a butterfly. im currently using the SR down pipe. only problem is that it come short about an inch and the bolt pattern is off about half inch also to where you have to twist the whole exhaust system to line it up. But if your using this kit i recommend ditching the stock downpipe, thats what caused my poor performance at first and almost made me wanna trash the kit.
