I've been looking for a S14 240sx for a long time now.... this past weekend was pretty crazy. I looked on autotrader for a 95-98 240sx and i saw this MINT looking black 240sx (96) for 5600, so i thought i would check it out. Well internet pictures can hide a whole lot. Not only was the paint scratched everywhere, there were multiple dings and dents. The driver side power window was all messed up, and the engine check light kept comning on. Now i was also planing on trading in my 1995 cavalier for this car (which is in very nice condition). the guy just wouldnt let up on how good this 240 was compared to any other out there. I got him to lower the price to 5500 and thats with trading in my cavalier... so i left him and his nasty 240sx. Driving back i felt bummed out and was very hungry, so when i got to my home town, i went to eat at this little restraunt by a bank. I saw this NIIIIIIIICE red S14 240sx... so i saw the guy at the ATM and out of curiosity, asked him if he was selling his car. His reply was, "well not today, but i was going to put it in the paper tomorow." And this thing was MINT! engine, interior, and body. So i thought this guy was going to be asking at LEAST 5500. He asks me how much I would pay for it, so before i told him, i wanted to test drive it... it ran like it was brand new. So just to mess with the guy, i said "$3500" since the car is almost 10 yrs old... and he agreed.... BLEW MY MIND. So now i have a mint condition 1995 red 240sx.
Only thing is.. i REALLY want the 97-98 headlights (JDM)... anyone know of a site with conversions???
