Okay here it is...

If you just want a car to get around, get an Auto.
If you want to race a little, get a stick.
If you really wanna race, get an RB or SR clip with stick.

when I do get a SR20DET, how can I swap out my auto for the 5-speed? cause dont you have to like drill the fire wall out, BUT please let me know to do it in detail preferably.

from what i read, a 5 speed conversion is possiable but is probably not worth it. Plus, a 5 speed from the factory is mechainically sound (no need to worry about ghetto mistakes that can happen from an sloppy conversion) there are plenty of 240sx out there

Get a automatic if your going to get a high miler and you want to keep the KA, THe car if it had an automatic was probaly never abused. You can then swap in anotehr tranny for like 200 or 300 and you wont have to worry about rebuilding if you don't have too.

I'm having a manual swapped into my S14 this summer, and I'll have the price quote by tomorrow. I did that instead of driving another 3 hours to Kentucky to get a manual.

The car I bought this weekend was advertised as a manual, but turned out to be an auto. I knew the coversion was cheap, so I just went for it

If you are going to get a sporty car why would one even concider getting an automatic? Is not the whole point to have fun while driving the car? But what do I know?

well.....It was a "I'm buying my very 1st car, parents did'nt want me crashing into somebody cause i did'nt know exactly how to change gears so get the same car with a automatic".....issue

Because I drive about a thousand miles a week to work and believe it or not shifting gets old - even in a car I love.

So, if anyone has a good auto they swap out for a manual let me know!!
