G35 Rims on an S14

Check it out. My mechanic threw some G35 rims on my kouki so that he could wheel it around his shop while he repairs the front end. I dropped of my new exhaust at his garage today and took some pics of the rims with my camera. Suprisingly the G35 rims fit REALLY well on an S14: they're nice and wide, and don't have a huge fender or brake rotor gap.

If these things didn't weigh so much I'd consider buying them from the guy who owns the Infinity that was left in the shop.

theyre ok on the 240 :/ ... but they look wayyyyy better on the g35

I think they look better on the S13.

I think they would look good if you powdercoated it or painted them black and dropped the car, look bitchen.

Yeah - And don't worry I didn't buy them and I am sticking with my stock s14 rims. But I was pretty impressed that they fit in the first place.

And for the record, the rims I white are Montegi Flat Black Racing Lites (17 inch). Less than a pound per inch in weight.

Perhaps, provided that they have the same bolt pattern. I'm curious about the G35's offset compared to the 240's...

should be a +35 offset on those wheels....i think those wheels would look better on a s14 thats dropped a bit,

I'm not sure if the guy's selling the rims. His G35 has been loafing around the shop for well over a month. Jose (my mechanic/ body shop guy) repaired the car ages ago, but the guy seems to have abandoned it :s

Don't ask me how someone could forget about a perfectly good G35, but Jose said "f*ck it" and threw the rims on my Nissan to wheel it about his shop. He was just impressed in general that the went on.

And I'm planning on dropping the car in the Spring with a set of JIC FLTA-1's and a rear camber kit. It started snowing this week so I've put off dropping: unless the city pays me to plow the streets

those wheels are pretty nice, I had a set for my S13. they are a +30 offset all the way around.

the offsets were virtually perfect for my S13. +25 front and a +20 rear would have been the best though.

The only thing I didn't like was the hight of the 45 series tires. the rear 245/45-18's were 28" tall. :eek4:

So if anyone considers getting these I'd suggest get some without tires and get some nice low profile tires with them.....

By the way I paid $800 for wheels and tires....then turned around and sold them for the same a month later.
